We just bought an induction stove WITH glass top. The designated cleaner for that might solve your problem. We’ve had very good luck with it.

@llmunro Keep the bottom of your pans really clean. Get any burnt on stuff with a straight edged razor the moment it is on there. They make glass cleaner for stoves. Don’t slide pans around the glass, particularly when it’s hot. (Not helpful but don’t be too precious about it)

@HumnEnterprises Yes! It is worth the effort, b/c you never know exactly *what* will be useful down the line. Also, as you add collections for later projects, you can move items between projects. Have as much foresight as you can, but don’t demand it of yourself for every item.

@Dr_JessieW @andydhorowitz Thank you for this, Jessie. YES! They *do* know, despite their perplexed hand-wringing. And it was *not* “acts of God.” It was (depending upon where and when you’re talking about) stripmining, coal slag dams, or mountaintop removal. And coal $$ into politicians’ pockets.
