Some quick thoughts from this week’s @SALTConference in Wyoming:

- One of the best gatherings in the U.S. for the industry. Perfect mix of finance / policy / digital assets. Kudos to @Scaramucci and John Darsie on another successful year in Jackson!

- Great catching up with old partners & meeting new ones. There’s a real opportunity in front of us, and Avalanche is ready to seize it.

- Great to connect & share thoughts with @jeffjohnroberts from @Fortune and @TheBlockCo

-Hot takes: bison and elk are great meat, Wyoming is more gorgeous every time you come back, and America willed the world in digital assets.

I leave more bullish than ever on where this industry is going, and on Avalanche’s place in it. 🔺

The Avalanche Foundation is delighted to support the launch of @AvaxTeam1 Builder Grants 🔺

Building on the success of Mini Grants - which has supported builders across gaming, infrastructure, community tools, and developer tooling - Accelerator Grants offer ecosystem builders up to $30,000 in funding to drive further growth.

Projects considered for Accelerator Grants are proposed and voted on by a committee made up of Avalanche team members and community representatives, reflecting the people building and using the ecosystem every day.

We look forward to seeing the impact it has on the next generation of builders on Avalanche.

avalanche summit is back in nyc this year and it looks intentionally different.

when we started planning summit, we asked ourselves a hard question: what does this event actually need to be right now?

because avalanche isn’t the same as it was two years ago. the ecosystem isn’t the same either. the people building here have evolved. the event needed to reflect that too.

so we made changes.

less filler. more intentional programming. tighter conversations. better rooms. more focus on bringing together the people actually shaping where this industry is going.

but to be clear, this was never about moving away from community. it was about building a stronger one.

the avalanche community is still the center of summit. founders shipping real products. developers. creators. operators. investors. institutions. startups. brands. fintech. AI. gaming. sports. payments. media. people building actual businesses and infrastructure onchain. that’s the point of all of this.

“built for business” does not just mean banks and suits. it means building things people actually use. real products. real companies. real systems. real economies.

that’s what we want summit to feel like this year.

credible, high signal, and built with intention while still having energy, culture, and people you actually want to spend time with.

not a generic enterprise conference.
not a crypto carnival.
something in between.

and this year, we’re leaning even harder into the avalanche itself.

🔺 @krakenfx launched Avalanche staking for eligible clients, offering multiple staking options without the need to manage validator infrastructure directly.

🔺 @HyperliquidX added Avalanche deposits, withdrawals, and trading to their the platform.

🔺 @Lynq_Network and Tassat are upgrading to a dedicated Avalanche L1 for real-time institutional payments and collateral mobility - bringing enterprise-grade financial infrastructure onchain.

🔺 @BenqiFinance is streamlining its isolated Avalanche ecosystem markets to focus resources on its core lending market and liquid staking.

🔺 @dexalot open sourced Python and TypeScript SDKs for programmatic trading access to its onchain order book across multiple chains - making it easier for developers to build on top of the protocol.

🔺 @SuzakuNetwork teamed up with @dexalot to introduce liquid staking participation in Dexalot's L1.

🔺 @coreapp partnered with @PharaohExchange, highlighting six months of all-time high volumes and strong governance participation.

🔺 @wasabicard integrated Avalanche for faster and lower-cost onchain payments.

🔺 @pangolindex is moving closer to launching its ve(3,3) tokenomics model - a mechanism designed to align long-term liquidity incentives with governance participation on Avalanche.

🔺 @MaplestoryU surpassed 150 million onchain transactions and 3.82 million registered accounts on Avalanche - a significant milestone for gaming adoption on the network.

🔺 @tomatochain joined Avalanche, bringing a media, payments, and commerce-focused ecosystem onchain through a new dedicated Avalanche L1 in Korea.

🔺 @zero________one launched the open call for the Rome exhibition, with selected artworks to be displayed in June. Submit on their platform with the tag #rome before May 24th.

🔺 @AvaxTeam1 hosted community events including Game Night and announced Gourmet Night Tokyo - continuing to build the Avalanche community on the ground across Asia.
