They want to build an AI data center ten miles from Mammoth Cave.

The longest cave system on Earth. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Over 400 miles of passageways, still being discovered.

This ground doesn't hold water, it swallows it. Rainwater drops straight down through sinkholes into the same channels that feed the cave.

One farmer nearby had to take out special sinkhole insurance, just from living on this land. She's counted seven sinkholes on her own property.

Now they want to build a $4.8 billion, 600 acre data center right on that ground, ten miles from the UNESCO site. Heavy construction. Its own power plant.

Research has already linked construction like this to sinkholes collapsing. Not a theory. Documented.

No environmental review required or done. Private land beats World Heritage status every time.

No one will even confirm who'd run the place. The operating company isn't registered anywhere in Kentucky. No construction start date. No public permits.

And the "safe" water system they're promising? No binding contract behind it. Just the company's own self-published paperwork.

The only thing standing in the way right now is a tiny town's one year moratorium. So the company is suing them.

A local council member already warned it'll likely take land from someone. "There's going to have to be land taken from somewhere," she said. That's not a guess. It's already happening to families in five other states right now, land seized through eminent domain for the exact same kind of AI infrastructure.

A cave that took millions of years to form. A family that might lose their land to build it. And nobody who'll even put their name on the project.

Who do you trust more to protect a cave that took millions of years to form? A small town that just found out what was coming, or a company that won't even say who'd run the place?
