@hwinkler4real Love your work and all, but note that kids get "free" meals at schools, and specially in California they get breakfast, lunch and after school.
@jeremyct Cite source....name where you could buy a house for $71k in 1997. I paid $199k in California and at best it's $900k but would have had to have times of repairs and updates.
Oh, and he's a little bitch thinking the house or the funds were his. Get a job and save for yourself
@spoonfulofhan Why do you have prices on your Etsy store? Shouldn't everything there be free -- you are not a good person if I have to pay for a towel.
See how dumb that sounds?
@Owennfa You know you can buy for less than 20% down right? I stopped reading after your first major miscalculation. I've put 3%. 5% and worst was 10%. 80/15/5 avoids pmi
@IanWeberRE@jonbrooks What? Rent is cheaper now and avoids large transaction costs along with maintenance and risk of downside. I'd sell now if I didn't have my 3% rate.
Rent for the next few years while you save and buy the soon to be foreclosures and short sales
@JulieBorowski You are telling me the 90's had meals for $7.50, drinks for $1 and tax and tip to get to $10 a head? Absolutely false to anyone who actually ate out in the 90's. You know $20's were called yuppie food coupons because that what a restaurant meal cost in the 80's
@Em56Cee@skumWgmi Em - no, the poster doesn't get the way banks work. One could argue whether the spread increased, but arguably, banks made a lot in 2021 thanks to volume of loans and refis. Their original post is fantasyland
@skumWgmi Way to selectively choose the few weeks with the lowest rate in history. While you are making up scenarios just say they should have bought nvidia years ago and just paid cash or their parents should have bought apple stock instead of 5 year old travel baseball
