The Lord promised to send the Spirit of Truth to ratify within our spirits the truth of the gospel. The grace of the Holy Spirit is an "interior light that leads to assent" (St. Thomas Aquinas). Let us pray together for the Spirit to illuminate every person in the Church.

The tendency of fallen human beings is to forget the Word of God, but the Lord promises to send the Spirit to awaken our memory of the Word and to understand. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." (Heb. 13:8)
