The D-II Northwest 1 Baseball bracket is loaded.

It's a group that includes @AWHS_Baseball, @ClayBaseball16, @BaseballNv, @SFSAthletics, and @RealTitanBall.

All state title contenders. Yet, only one will be a Sweet 16 team.

Interesting, to say the least.

- Anthony Wayne gets a bye
- (5/20) St. Francis at Northview
- (5/20) Lima Senior at Clay
- (5/20) Start at St. John's

District Semis:
- (5/26) Lima Senior/Clay vs Start/SJJ at 4:30 PM at BG
- (5/26) Anthony Wayne vs. SFS/NView at 7 PM at BG

District Finals:
- (5/28) at 5:00 PM at BGSU

Five state title contenders in one district.

One of which (SFS) beat the number one team in Division II (Steele) less than 48 hours ago.

Another one (NView) had a six-one lead over that same team before the weather suspended the game.

And then there's AW, Clay, and SJJ, who are all ranked in the top-11 in the coaches poll in Division II.

NW Ohio is the only area in Division II that'll have only one representative in the regional tournament.
