AWOME Chairperson Urges Female Journalists to Report Fearlessly Ahead of Elections

AWOME Chairperson Dorothy Kachitsa has urged female journalists in Malawi to report boldly and without fear on electoral issues as the country gears up for upcoming elections.

“Despite the challenges, it’s important for women in media to rise above fear and actively participate in reporting the upcoming elections,” she said.

Oxfam Gender Justice Coordinator Lindiwe Jere, reiterated Oxfam’s commitment to empowering women-led movements in Malawi.
