🐒 “I’m absolutely sure that most Scottish voters don’t know what’s going on in Edinburgh behind closed doors in these contract laboratories because if they did there would be widespread outcry” says Jane Smith, AWP’s Deputy Leader.
📈Can you help us get the message out? 🗳️🙏🏼 /
📢🗳️Animal & environmental issues mustn’t be sidelined in the Scottish Parliament Elections! Ahead of the vote on May 7, Animal Welfare Party’s election leaflets will soon be delivered across the region of Edinburgh & Lothians East, where AWP is standing. /
@dgcouncil@NatureScotland please can you confirm that these badgers will be legally protected as the law states and no licence for culling will be provided. Our wildlife is in decline.
@RoyalMail this is the ninth bird caught in your cruel netting

A rare Polar Bear showed up on the shores of Iceland. Police shot it! 🤬
Authorities considered it a threat to residents in Westfjords.
It was the first one seen in the country since 2016.
@IoloWilliams2@itvnews Every year the media churn out these ridiculous sensationalist headlines; so depressing. If it's not XL gulls; it's spiders the size of rats 🙄🙄 or rats the size of cats...Media have a lot to answer for.

Please help these pigeons that are stuck in your netting at East Croydon Train station. It's a wildlife crime to have birds caught in netting. Clearly the netting is not being maintained or checked daily.
Just sickening; the persecution of those poor birds and other wildlife along with destruction/pollution to our countryside. It needs banned NOW!! #inglorious12th
There’s nothing glorious about the INGLORIOUS 12th
Does environmental destruction, animals being trapped and killed, and defenceless birds being blasted out of the sky sound glorious to you?
🎤 @ChrisGPackham#Inglorious12th
@LloydsBank you have committed a wildlife crime by not maintaining your netting and allowing this crow to suffer. @RSPCA_official why has noone been out to help this poor bird.

@GeorgeMonbiot I've thought exactly the same today. People peacefully protesting to protect our earth get 5 years and violent thugs get 3 years. How is this appropriate?!
