Despite all of the rain, I still got some reps in with @OliviaAyers2027 and @AWestbrook2029 tonight! I worked on using my lower half of my body to produce power through my swing while hitting inside and outside pitches. I also worked on location with the checkerboard net for pitching. I focused on hitting the corners of the net with my fastball, curve, screw, and drop-curve and hitting the corners of the plate.

The weekend didn’t end how we wanted it to. We went 1-5 over 3 days. My hitting and defense were the highlights as I got my first 16u home run (second all-time). Big thanks to all coaches who came out and watched in the heat. Stats coming soon!

Huge thanks to the coaches who stood out in the heat yesterday for the Diamond Direction camp in Rock Hill, SC! Special thanks to my teams coaches, Coach Sydney from WCU and Coach Morgan from QC. I had a great time and learned a lot. Can’t wait to start the tournament today!

Had a great time guest playing with Blayden County Starz yesterday! We went 4-0 and took home some rings! I had a .333 batting average with 3 hits and 4 RBIs. In the circle I held opponent batting average to .200 and had 6 strikeouts.
