I don't know what's worse, the CDC throwing up its hands and conceding to COVID's unmitigated spread, or public health professionals I respected defending the move because it reflects where people are. What?! Is that what leadership does?

If you're thinking the new CDC mask guidance is premature, ignores prevention, ignores long Covid, ignores the tens of millions with compromised immune systems or not eligible for vaccines, and ignores the risk of new variants... Well, sadly, you're right.
@WoolieWoolz@SunhiLegend Showing multiple endings and the “true” final boss strikes me as a poor choice for a trailer even if they’re being shown out of context.
@PunishedLorelai@yacobg42 It’s part of a trend I dislike where all the plot is in supplementary materials like comic books to explain why certain characters disappear completely and hardly/never get mentioned again between installments.
@Ignis_Sailor@yacobg42 Well that platforming isn’t almost completely on autopilot so that’s already better than Uncharted (mind you I do like all of them except for Golden Abyss)
@jph_anderson Only voted it as decent so you’ll watch the OG show, it’s a below average adaptation with some charming qualities (that remind me of early 2000s Sci-Fi Channel shows) but it’s so crass and dumb.
@deveyel@ROPsicle@jph_anderson Well yeah, it was an inferior reproduction of the introduction to Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, the anime doesn’t really get going until episode 3 when Faye is introduced.
@MikeSuskie There’s no incest but people like to exaggerate, Julianna letting him flirt with her is her messed up way of fucking with his head for the later reveal.
@MikeSuskie Because *MASSIVE SPOILERS* when the game starts Colt thinks he and Julianna had previously dated and that’s why she’s so aggressive towards him, but the reveal is they’re father/daughter (Colt finding out they’re related is why he chose to break the loop originally)
