@markofgrayson @unusual_whales You don't have to move assets offshore with Delaware and Kentucky corp and trust laws. You can do tax avoidance perfectly easily in the US. In fact it is done the most within the US.

So a more able police response may have ended up killing a parent. But then since the cops weren't doing anything, it's moot in this instance.
