Once again I wish to point out the hypocrisy and propaganda value we are fed by our media.

Huge reporting on the 60,000 or so migrants who entered Spain over a ten day period. If you watch the reports, it is a major crisis of epic proportion. Photos of military age men only being in the group, filth and destruction in the city they landed in, deficating and washing in public fountains and garbage everywhere.

It is the end of Europe per all these reports.

And yet, in just December of 2023 under Biden, 300,000 migrants entered our country through the Southern Border.

In fact the average under his watch per month was at least 160,000 a month.

I suspect I don't have to point out how this was not reported as a crisis for us by our own media, the same media now saying Europe is doomed.

What was counted, what they know about over his four years adds up to over eight million, and somehow that was not a crisis. And that is just what they encountered, and does not include the millions they never counted.

But just for the sake of comparison, the population of Spain is 49 million, and 60,000 migrants in ten days is a national emergency.

The population of the EU is four hundred fifty million and 60,000 migrants in ten days is a crisis.

The population of the United States is three hundred fifty million and at least eight million in four years was fine with them.

Here is something to chew on this morning.

The administration is refunding 166 BILLION DOLLARS to companies that paid tariffs due to a court ruling.

Those companies raised prices accordingly the amount of the tariffs.

Now that this money has been refunded to them, when will we see the price increase refunded to consumers and the prices lowered to pre-tariff levels.

You really need to pay attention to this stuff.

The name of every company that received a refund should be published by the government and every consumer who bought products from those companies should contact them and demand both.

Like it or not, we better be prepared for a ground invasion in the conflict with Iran.

Based on what I see happening, this is never going to end with just bombing, and the neighboring countries who are being hit by Iranian missiles and drones will not be able to sustain the damage forever.

Kuwait today, it is being reported: Their power plants and water desalination plants were bombed by Iran.

So, one of two things will happen in the near future.

1. The neighboring allied Muslim States in the region will decide to band together and with us, send in a ground invasion, arm Iran's civilians who are willing to fight and this will become a years long conflict.

Make no mistake, China will supply weapons and other assistance to Iran, quite simply because they know if a pro western government is in Iran, they lose a major cheap oil supplier, and influence over the region.

2. Or the alternative; the neighboring Muslim countries will decide they can no longer sustain the damage and stop allowing us to use their territory for land bases and we will be locked out of even being able to bomb and maintain the conflict, other than from naval capabilities.

This will leave us isolated in our resolve to prevent a nuclear Iran as well as degrade our influence. And China will be as as aggressive as above in providing assistance to Iran, making any peace deal one where we will have done all of this for nothing.

In this scenario, Iran will eventually acquire nuclear weapons and control the strait of Hormuz. And when they do, they will use them on Israel and WWIII will follow.

I have said this from the beginning, the original cease fire was a mistake. It allowed China and Russia to resupply Iran with weapons and defense capabilities, which is the only way after the original attacks against them surprised and degraded them to a point they were defeated. We played right into their hands thinking we could actually negotiate with them to be a good world citizen.

And I have said all along and for years, any armed conflict should be committed to all out victory. There is no halfway measures once you decide to bomb and kill people.

I want you to consider this. We may very well be turning otherwise friendly Iranian people, against us. Imagine losing your family, your livelihood, your power, your water, your food supply to these bombing raids. Imagine the regime so intent on keeping power, they slaughter anyone that voices dissent, imagine you are unarmed and your life is far worse after we started this campaign.

Who would you blame?

It is no different than why the Israeli v Arab conflict goes on for generation after generation.

You are a nine year old Israeli child and a suicide bomber or Hamas rocket kills your family. You grow up with a hatred that will never go away. Now imagine Israel retaliates and an Israeli bomb kills the family of a nine year old Arab child, that child grows up with the same hatred.

Those feelings never go away and never will.

There is no halfway in an armed conflict and we should have learned that by now. If you make the decision to bomb and kill people you better be prepared win that conflict at all costs or pay the price for generations of not doing so. As harsh as that sounds.

Not one limited engagement, one police action in my lifetime has yielded the desired result and this one won't either.

A little history review and how it is happening again.
1. Vietnam: Russia (Communist Soviet Union) supported North Vietnam and provided weapons and intelligence which allowed an underfunded, underdeveloped nation to battle us for more than a decade and eventually cause us to want out. Providing weapons, funding, aircraft, boots on the ground training and more.
2, China, a communist led country, supported North Korea, sent and is to this day, sending money, weapons, troops and literally invaded and attacked our troops, causing a cease fire that today stands, when we invaded North Korea to push them back out of South Korea. A backward poor country that to this day stands in defiance of anything we stand for.
3. Soviet Russia invades Afghanistan, we provide the resistance with weapons, money, training making that war last 12 years for the Soviets, and eventually causing the collapse of the Soviet Union as it once was.
4. Soviet Russia backed Syria, and made war against Israel possible.
All of this in the name of the Cold War, stopping the spread of communism. All of these conflicts never resolved in a meaningful manner that resulted in something better for the citizens of all these nations. Syria got Assad, Vietnam in a communist run Country, Afghanistan once again in the hands of the Taliban, North Korea a brutal dictatorship, Iran a religious dictatorship, and these are just the ones off the top of my head in my lifetime.
And all of them the result of failing to commit to actually winning a conflict, the vision of what winning really looks like and the fortitude to move to that end.
All of them the result of so-called global experts planning and failures.
Now fast forward to today. What we see in Iran and Ukraine is exactly the same scenarios playing out. Russia and China, suppling Iran, us unwilling to do what actually needs to be done if lasting peace is to be had.
There is no way that Iran could still be launching attacks if they were not being resupplied by them, no way they could have the intelligence to target sensitive areas, the technology to use advanced weapons. As long as there are pipelines to supply them, ceasefires with the regime in power, and we play at degrading them while hoping they will eventually do something they have failed to do for 50 years, keep their word and be good world citizens, this will drag on. And make no mistake, they are rebuilding their nuclear capabilities through all of this, and when they achieve a bomb they will use it. There is no doubt, especially after a year of being bombed.
The same in reverse is happening in Ukraine, we and Europe are keeping Ukraine alive against a much larger and stronger nation.
The irony of all this befuddles me, while at the same time we are trading partners with China and Russia, we are at war with them through proxies on actual battlefields. And make no mistake, each believes by keeping these wars alive, degrades the other from larger world goals and aspirations.
The reality is, there is no peace with Iran that allows the current religious regime to remain in place, ever. There is no peace in Ukraine that allows Russia to keep territory it has captured, there is only ongoing forever conflict until one side or the other decides the cost is too much or the ultimate destruction is the only option. We forget Russia actually holds the largest nuclear arsenal in the world, if they get to the point where they feel they can no longer sustain conventional warfare, they will use them. Just as when Iran achieves a nuclear weapon they will as well. This is a reality, sadly we are faced with, victory has no winner.
While we deplete our military supplies and stretch our resources, China builds its military capability. Make no mistake, China needs oil from Iran, and they will ensure they get it at any cost.
We have learned nothing from our past as is too often the case. Either commit to winning and know that that looks like, popular or not, accepted by the world or not, or don't undertake police actions.
Either demand a world coalition invade Iran and change leadership, or get out and let the region and the rest of the world deal with the fallout. We do not require oil from the Strait of Hormuz, the rest of the world does. The nations in the region must have access to it to sell their oil, let them defend it, let them put together a fighting force and invade the nation that wants to control it and their destiny, not us, not our money and our blood alone.
When this escalates and it will, the reality of what that looks like will shock the world, unless we commit to winning.
Ukraine is a European problem, if one at all. Neither we nor Europe have clean hands in that conflict, regardless of press, Putin did not wake up one day and decide Russia should own Ukraine just for the hell of it, we and Europe created his fear and motivation with our policies and sponsored corruption and political manipulation on his birder while publicly calling Russia the enemy. Imagine Russia doing this in Mexico, how would we have reacted?
So as I have preached for decades in these conflicts, either all in or all out, there is no halfway when it comes to war in the modern world.
One more history lesson. Hitler would not have happened, not have conquered most of Europe, had the Western Democracies been wiling to stop him before, but they weren't. Stalin would not have conquered Eastern Europe if the West was willing to stop him before he had the resources. China would not be communist if Mao was stopped before he came to power.
And the middle east would not be where it is if after World War II, it was not carved up into Kingdoms.
Everything you see playing out is the direct result of mistakes made in the past and being repeated today.

This will probably be wildy unpopular, but needs to be said.

Unions were critical in an era when companies were taking advantage of workers, in unimaginable ways. They were necessary to not only protect the lives and safety of workers but a share of the financial rewards for building successful companies.

But that time has long passed, laws protect workers from harm, discrimination and financial harm. Unions no longer are needed to fulfill the very reasons they were formed.

One could go further and point out that Unions have become political tools, have become financial juggernauts of their own, and force members to behave as they want or punish them. They collect dues from members and use the money for purposes many of those members oppose, but say nothing because their work depends on the union.

It was unions that made buying American challenging in the market place when faced with global competition. Unions literally almost collapsed our entire auto industry.

That all said, they are also responsible for creating the largest middle class expansion in history.

But regardless, Unions do not belong in Government Employment at all. Especially in critical areas.

As for the teachers unions suing, we are now the number one per student expense per year in the world and rank way down in results. That can only happen because the union protects itself and non-productive employees. When you own a business, cost and productivity go hand in hand, and very few of us would tolerate results like this in almost anything we contract for.

We have all seen the worksite with five people needed to dig a hole, (sarcasm), because each task is defined by a union contract, rather than the most efficient manner to get the job done. Which by the way adds to the cost to get the job done and thus the cost to buy the product or service.

Oh the ignorance. Besides the fact that you are required to show ID for gun purchases already, what part of "Shall not be Infringed" is hard to understand.

The constitution is clear, actually on both issues, only citizens voting and the right to bear arms, these laws already exist.

Considering that people are elected to represent their voters, and that over 80% of those voters want it passed, not only do I think it should be passed, but if it isn't and your party loses a majority, in one of the houses of the Congress, everything that follows is directly your parties fault. It is literally poltical suicide not passing this.

So, what I think is, that any elected representative who blatantly ignores the will of the people, should be sent packing, regardless of the results going forward.

In 1979, before there was a Department of Education, the USA ranked number one in most measurable educational metrics.

In 1979, to get the teachers union vote, Jimmy Carter, who had promised the union he would, created the department. It was done by Executive Order, not legislation creating it.

Since its inception in 1979 when we ranked near or at the top in nearly every category, we have devolved into ranking near the bottom in almost every category. This, despite spending more per student each year than any other country on earth, we rank near the bottom on even the basics, math, reading and the sciences.

This is not a coincidence. It is a direct result of policy, of making administration more a priority than actual classrooms. All you have to do is ask how many administrative positions now fill your schools and school boards versus teachers. The percentages of administrators to teachers from 1979 to now are staggering.

It is a direct result of the the Department of Education, trying to nationalize education, dictating to states what they can and can't teach. It is a direct result of pushing ideology rather than learning, on the threat of withholding funds if districts did not comply. It is a direct result of putting in positions of power only like minded individuals and crushing dissenting opinion.

So to answer your question, yes I and we voted for this because it is a failed experiment costing hundreds of billions of dollars and employing thousands of people at the department that have zero to do with education of students.

One of the founders is quoted as saying, if we give up freedom for security, we will end up with neither.

Given the fact we know, the government has abused the FISA system for political gain in the past, I for one think it should not be renewed, government should not have a secret court that grants power to invade citizens privacy, with little to no probable and provable cause.

And as I read below there are a heck of a lot of people, in fact over 80% of all the people in this country who want the SAVE ACT Passed, Leader Thune, perhaps you could remember you work for them, not the other way around.

I would think even for self preservation of your own power you would get that bill passed, because without it, surely one of the Houses of Congress will change leadership. And that sir will all be on you and your failure to listen to the people who you work for.

If you think for one minute that when Democrats have power they won't ditch the filibuster and the 60 vote and the parliamentarian authority, you are naïve at best.

Politicians, especially Republicans in office in the Senate can only be called stupid.

They refuse to change the filibuster rules or use the talking filibuster to get the Save Act passed. Why?

some stupid loyalty to ancient procedures, when they must know if the Democrats gain control they will use it to pass whatever they want, especially if it goes against Trump. They will change anything that stands in their way.

But here is the really stupid part.

If they pass it and only actual citizens vote, and only once, and dead people don't vote and you have to prove who you are when you vote, Democrats will never gain control, therefore the fear of reprisal is just plain stupid.

There is no other description. If you fail to pass this bill, they will cheat, illegals will vote, legal immigrants will vote, dead people will vote, many will vote often and they will win seats they could never win in honest and fair elections.

This is not rocket science.

The first order of business you should take up is the funding for next fiscal year that covers all Federal Costs for elections.

You do not want to get to October and face another shut down that does not fund election integrity right before the mid-term elections.

Well I told you, I told you and I told you.

Tomorrow is the last day to pass any spending bills once again the government shuts down.

Democrats are once again holding the country hostage over some political nonsense, refusing to vote to fund DHS, in case you don't know that is the Department of Homeland Security. Can't imagine I have to explain what is under that umbrella.

Republicans are cowards, there is no other explanation. They have the House, the Senate and the White House and still do not push through on the agenda they were elected for.

Democrats when they have that kind of power push everything they dream of, Republicans be damned.

I am certain there are ways the Senate can get around the filibuster and 60 vote requirement, yet they choose not to. You can bet Democrats will when and if they have the majority again.

Hell, these fools can't even pass the "SAVE ACT" which requires a legitimate voter ID to vote.

They caved on reinstating spending cuts that were promised in the last few bills.

Here is a little advice for them:

If the vote were tomorrow they would lose the House, so what is there to lose, get things done before that possibility even has a chance.

If the House turns the rest of the Trump Presidency will be lame duck, nothing will get done.

Stop letting them and their media allies control the false narrative, stop infighting among yourselves.

Anything Trump proposes is better by far than what the Democrats will inflict on you and your constituents, so stop arguing and get things done now, before it is too late.

All the news cycle last night and this morning is how ICE and Noem are leaving Minnesota and Homan is coming in and that Walz and Frey are willing to cooperate.

In my opinion this is a huge mistake, caving in to the paid agitators and anarchists, giving them exactly what they wanted.

All this will do is encourage them to move to the next city that makes headlines and rinse and repeat.

We should have invoked the insurrection act, should have sent troops to protect ICE, keeping crowds away from them during operations and we should be arresting anyone who throws things, obstructs operations and impedes them.

It is sad two individuals were shot and killed, but that was because of choices they made, it was because of political rhetoric and it was because of paid agitators as well as biased media coverage.

They did not have to die, and here are several ways they would still be here today.

1. Stay home in the first place.
2. Don't drive a car at a federal agent.
3. Comply with commands to exit the vehicle.
4. Do not follow ICE and obstruct their operations.
5. Do not bring a loaded gun and extra magazines to a volatile police operation.
6. Do not obstruct a federal police operation while carrying a loaded gun and extra magazines.
7. Do not put your hands on a police officer while performing his duties with a loaded gun and extra magazines on your person.

Now, you can argue the right to protest all you want, but both these people would be alive today if they followed some of the above simple things. They are pawns in a much bigger game and have become tools, dare I say martyrs for a cause they were pawns in.

I will say this one more time, if you let 20 million people in illegally within four years, spread them all over the country, have no idea who they are, criminal or mental health backgrounds, the removal is going to be painful.

And all these so called protestors, even those who are genuinely protesting because they believe removing them is wrong, are protesting to harm themselves. Not to mention protesting to protect a criminal and probably a terrorist element that does not belong here.

How many children missing and presumed trafficked, 300,000 or more. ICE operations have found over 60,000 of them. Where were the protests and the riots to find and protect them. We should be celebrating in the streets the rescue of these children, saved by the very same ICE operations being vilified.

How many innocent women raped and murdered by illegals? Where were the protests and riots to protect them?

Every single person who came here illegally, broke our laws. If you went to their countries illegally and broke their laws, you would not be living freely off their tax payers.

Every single one who came here illegally and is receiving any form of help, housing, cash, food, healthcare or education is taking resources we do not have and from citizens who may need it and can't get it.

Every single one is making the cost of living here more expensive for citizens, just by being here, if for no other reason than increasing the demand for everything they consume.

If there was true justice, there would be millions of us protesting sanctuary cities and states, protesting using tax dollars for illegal benefits, protesting rioters and paid agitators for interfering in removing them. In fact millions should have been protesting letting them in under Biden.

I have posted and written time after time, The Communists in Russia, the Nazi's in Germany, the Fascists in Italy, Cambodia, Iran all numbered less than five percent of their populations, but intimidated the other 95% to remain silent, to do nothing, until they lost their countries to them.

What we are seeing unfold in nothing new, it is a tried and true method of forcing the majority who sit quietly in the background to their knees.

It is why each spending bill should be as described before a one or two page bill and specific for that area or need.

It is beyond comprehension that the American people have allowed this nonsense to go on as long as it has.

I understand the need of local reps to get money back to their states and districts, but the pork added to these bills would choke the hog.

Hopefully the President vetoes it, regardless of the threat of a shut down. We proved in the last one just how little we need from the federal government.
