We must take a stand against gender-based violence now, or risk further loss of rights. When we say loss of rights this often equates to loss of life.

To see violence truly eliminated, the attitudes of men need to change. Shifting these behaviors’ is hard and slow, but gender equality means all of us, and working with all genders is the only way to see true change.

To end violence against women, we need to challenge the attitudes that perpetuate, rationalize and normalize that violence, and deny women’s right to safety. Men are overwhelmingly the perpetrators of gender-based violence.

AYCEEO organized Herat Debate Tournament on 27 November 2020. Forty youths entered to four competitive debate rounds & they discussed & debated some topical issues on Afg such as Afghan Peace Process, Women Empowerment, Gender Equality & Elimination of Gender Based Violence.

Mr. Mohammad Tahir Taraki and Marzia Mesbah are being ranked as the champion team of the tournament and Mr. Sohrab Khatebi is being ranked as the Best Speaker of the debate tournament.

موسسه تعلیمی و مشارکت مدنی جوانان افغانستان این بار برنامه اموزشی مناظره، مشارکت مدنی و احیای صلح به کمک مالی سفارت کانادا در افغانستان را در ولایت هرات باستان که از جمله قطب صنعتی و کانون فرهنگی و هنری افغانستان بشمار میرود برای ۴۰ تن جوانان از طبقه ذکور و اناث برگذار کرد.

این برنامه اموزشی فرصت رشد تفکر، همدیگر پذیری و انتقاد پذیری در جامعه را میان شرکت کننده گان به گونه مستقیم توسط تیوری های مناظره، و سخنوری های عامه روی پالیسی های موجود برای جوانان و زنان فراهم نموده و به اشتراک کننده گان کمک نمود -
