Based on specific intelligence, Nagpur Customs foiled an attempt to smuggle 200g Gold, 20 iPhones, 8 Laptops, 1 iPad and 14,400 cigarette sticks of foreign origin totally valued at ₹37,81,944/- by two pax travelling from Sharjah to Nagpur by Air Arabia Flight on 9th June 2024.

On profiling, Customs Commissionerate Nagpur booked a case under NDPS Act on 4th April 2024 at Nagpur International Airport and seized “Methaqualone” substance weighing 2.937 kg valued at ₹8.81 crores internationally. Pax was arrested and further investigation is ongoing.

In the morning of 25.01.2024, based on passenger profiling, officers of Nagpur Customs at airport intercepted a pax travelling from Sharjah to Nagpur in QR-590 flight & prevented an attempt to smuggle 549 g gold worth ₹34 lacs. Gold is seized & further investigation is underway.

AIU and ACU Teams of Nagpur Customs, based on intelligence and profiling, prevented an attempt of gold smuggling at the Nagpur International Airport.

283g of gold valued at ₹16.66 lacs were recovered from a pax travelling from Sharjah by Air Arabia flight G-9/415 on 10.08.2023.

This is the new fraud happening and please don’t get fooled by this. Please ask the buyer to give some time. Ask for a token amount only by you (the seller) when requesting for money on third party channels like
