Today, Maama Janet and I received international evangelist, Bishop Dr. LaDonna C. Osborn at State House Entebbe. She is in Uganda ahead of the consecration of Pastor Patience Rwabwogo as a Bishop.

Dr. Osborn recalled her first visit to Uganda in 1985 with her late mother, who ministered to many Ugandans during a difficult period in our history. Maama Janet also fondly recalled Dr. Osborn’s mother, who prayed with our family and gave our children their first Bibles.

We reflected on Uganda’s transformation over the years and the enduring friendship between the Osborn family and Uganda. I welcome Dr. Osborn back to Uganda and wish Pastor Patience a blessed consecration.

Shut up. You failed to address these issues when you were the Principal Private Secretary to the President. You also failed to address them when you served as the Minister of State for Northern Uganda, and again when you were the Member of Parliament for Kaberamaido County in Uganda’s 9th Parliament you also failed to address them on the floor of parliament.

Instead, while serving as the President’s PPS, you focused on taking money from people who wanted to meet the President. When you were appointed minister, your focus shifted to chasing cattle keepers in Northern Uganda rather than addressing the challenges facing the region.

Not every adult is wise. Some people misuse the opportunities they are given and fail to serve the public effectively. Oryempugye!

Today, I celebrated the 100th birthday of Mzee Thomas Kayangire in Kashari. It's a rare milestone, and he achieved it through his dedication to a healthy life.

I joined the celebration to honor his years of service. Back in 1965, while I was in High school, Mzee Kaguta gifted me 22 heifers, and Kayangire rode his bicycle to help me care for them, demonstrating his commitment to serve everyone, regardless of age or status.

His kindness has always stayed with me. When he invited me to his wedding anniversary in 2008 and again today, I came to show my appreciation. Mzee Kayangire’s long life reflects the rewards of serving others.
