Nigerians are so dumb… God see comments under Davido tweet, like are you guys stupid??
This thing is not even about fan base or stanship abeg. The insecurity in Nigeria right now is not a joke… People are getting kidnapped in their own villages, farmers can’t go to farm, students are scared to go to school, travelers are disappearing on highways. Every week you hear fresh stories… another massacre, another ransom video, another community running into the bush. It’s heartbreaking. It’s exhausting. And it affects everybody…, from the poor man in the village to the big man in Banana Island.
But the moment Davido or any celebrity opens his mouth to talk about it, suddenly the comment section turns into a circus. “Why is he talking?” “He’s doing it for clout.” “He should go and sing.” “This one na PDP or APC agenda?” Bros, are you people okay?
If these celebs keep quiet, una go still drag them… “See them, they don’t care about the country, they’re just enjoying abroad.” But the day they speak, e don turn to “mind your business,” “focus on your music,” or some tribal war… Make una pick one abeg! You can’t have it both ways.
The truth is, a lot of Nigerians don’t want solutions… they want to win arguments. They want to use every national problem as another opportunity to drag their “enemy” celebrity or support their own. Insecurity is killing us, but some people are more interested in protecting Davido’s rival or turning it into “he didn’t speak when X happened.” Na wa o.
This country is bleeding. People are dying. Families are paying millions to get their loved ones back (if they’re lucky). Schools are shutting down in some states because of threats. And the best some of una fit do is sit under Davido’s tweet and type nonsense like keyboard warriors.
I pure spit for una face!
If you don’t have anything useful to say, at least shut up and let people who have influence use their voice. Whether you like Davido or not, the insecurity problem is bigger than one celebrity. Stop the foolishness. Stop the selective outrage. Stop turning serious national issues into stan wars.
We’re all suffering this thing together. If we keep attacking anyone who speaks up, who go talk again? The silence will only make the situation worse.
Wake up, Nigerians. This is not content. This is our reality.
