Australia enacted gun control laws in 1996 after 35 people were killed in a shooting. It only took ONE shooting for politicians to protect their citizens and implement gun control. They immediately saw a sharp decline in homicide and suicide rates via guns. This is the first mass shooting Australia has had in decades.

I've noticed a lot of people clipping this video and trying to use it to say I believe in things I don't or claim I'm saying things that I'm not actually saying. As an online political commentator, I believe it's my responsibility to ensure that I'm delivering my message in as clear and concise a way as possible; if too many people are misinterpreting what I'm saying, I need to do a better job to correct my language appropriately.

I want to be clear about the language I'm using in this clip - it is from August 2025, and before the recent politically motivated assassination occured. Make no mistake, I absolutely would not say the same thing today. Recognizing the events that have recently unfolded, it would be more accurate to say:

"I hated Charlie Kirk. I think he was a satan spawn."
