Leaving mormonism left me staring in the mirror at a face I was proud of but also felt like a blank canvas.
Who was I now that I'd left? Now that there were less demands on me for how I was supposed to look, act, give, care, exist, who did I truly want to be?
I had ideas and inner knowing but the permission express those things fully wasnt quite there. It was more than scary.
Second guessing myself became my favorite passtime. I'm a chronic overthinker and catastrophizer. Nobody beats me at "worst case scenario". Survival tools absolutely become your prison if you can't find a way and all the best reasons to lay them down at some point.
I decided to spend a year reprogramming myself of cult ideas and expectations. I decided to get hard in the paint and unravel any kind of expectation that that wasn't something I wanted to place on myself. Parental demands, cult demands, patriarchal demands, marital demands, all of it.
I went through hundreds of them. I determined what they were in detail, how they affected me. If there were positive aspects or if they were just trash. If the expectations belonged to anyone other than me and they had a positive aspect I spent time remaking them so they became things I wanted of myself with no emotional, mental or spiritual ties to the origin of that expectation.
Ultimately I discovered that the expectations I had if myself were to fill the expectations others had of me first, and of the few that were actually my own expectations some had been held onto for so long they weren't even relevant anymore.
Not filling those things for my own life brought on a grief that showed me how much the life I had been living had stolen from me. I thought I was being righteous and a daughter of God. I thought my sacrifice would return in joy amd blessings. It left me empty, unfulfilled, heartbroken and angry. I vowed to myself that the most important expectations in my life were the ones that gave me purpose, true joy, and fulfillment.
That meant I had to give myself freedom from obligations to things and people who couldn't or wouldn't create reciprocal experiences with me.
It was an arduous year. I let go of some "friends", and began looking for ways to express myself and share what I had been hiding inside me. I tried every new thing I found that might lead me down a path that would bring me closer to my authentic self.
The first year ended and I stretched it out one more. Keeping a journal of firsts. Celebrating all the interesting, exciting and unique things I was discovering about who I was and what made me soar.
I'm proud of the woman I've discovered within.
If you've left controlling or abusive relationships or overbearing, demanding religious communities and you're standing and looking at your reflection in the mirror wondering who you are and whats next, lets connect.
Youre not alone. You're not empty, and youre not obligated. You have permission to explore, discover & enjoy who you truly are.
Today, I had a conversation with a friend about some significant changes on the horizon. I found myself feeling nervous, even terrified. My friend listened attentively and, at one point, paused to place her hand on my shoulder, saying, "You don't have to do it alone."
In that gentle pause, she reminded me of a lesson I share daily with my clients. It was a comforting reminder that I am not alone in this journey. There is an abundance of support and help available.
I take pride in being present and available for my clients, ensuring they never have to face challenges alone. Hearing those words from my friend reinforced my commitment to this principle.

Some days healing looks like doing the work.
Some days it looks like lying on the floor, taking a breath, and allowing yourself to be held by the moment.
This afternoon, we paused.
We rested.
We softened.
And for a little while, no one needed to have all the answers.
Just a room full of women giving themselves permission to exhale.
Healing doesn't always require effort.
Sometimes it begins with a pause, a breath, and the gentle reminder that you don't have to carry everything alone.

What happens after survival?
I've been thinking a lot about the women who spent years holding everything together and then suddenly find themselves with space they don't quite know what to do with.
This video is for them.
For the women learning that healing isn't always about fixing what's broken.
Sometimes it's about discovering who they are when they no longer have to stand guard over everyone else's life.

A healed woman is a vibrant, compassionate and passionate being. She has reached down into herself and excavated the things that no longer serve her, no longer please her and no longer represent the woman she is on the inside. She has cleared her energy, created clarity, authenticity and humility. A healed woman is full of purpose, and is absolutely imperfect. She is real and knows who she truly is.
You don't have to abandon your past to heal. You only have to embrace your NOW and cherish it.

@brain_stimulus Blue beam isnt very high tech anymore
They will use v2k tech because it can create clear and details visions, audio in the head and even trigger sense of smell .. soooo this.. not so impressive
Sometimes prolonged stress doesn’t just exhaust you physically,
it changes how you move through life.
You may notice yourself becoming quieter.
Less playful. Less patient. Less interested in things that once made you happy.
Many women blame themselves for this.
But often, it isn’t laziness or failure. It’s overload.
The body and mind can only carry so much pressure for so long before they begin conserving energy however they can.
Healing isn’t always about pushing harder.
Sometimes it begins with creating enough calmness and safety for the nervous system to soften again.
What’s something stress has changed about you that you don’t usually talk about? For me, It's how much energy I ACTUALLY have in a day.

Change is usually good for me but it can be so hard to take that first step. I can be a ruminator and perseverator, especially over the unknowns and the "what-if's". I tend to put an undue amount of pressure on the outcomes and can find myself hesitating.
I needed to get the ball of change rolling again and get familiar with how that feels to come out on the other side LOVING the outcome. This weekend, I took a leap and changed up my hair color. This can be very fun or very traumatic. I've been stuck in a rut thinking some pretty harsh things about myself and the pace I am currently moving at.
I decided to give myself a boost and take a chance on a new hair color. Something fun. Something unconventional. Something me, but MORE, so i died my hair pink. I Love it. I feel bright, happy and most of all FUN. Working so hard to build and grow right now has kept me in focus and driven, but I was definitely missing something. FUN.
Creativity flows better in the space of FUN. Relationships flourish when there is authentic FUN. Children grow and learn when it is playful and FUN. Deep wounds find healing and relief with laughter and FUN.
This weekend I kickstarted my energy with a bit of hair fun. What are YOU doing to find a little fun each day and how does it FEEL for you to allow it?

Leaving a high-control religious system changes more than beliefs.
It changes the way you see yourself, trust yourself, move through relationships, make decisions, and feel safe in your own life.
For many women, leaving Mormonism is only the beginning of reclaiming autonomy, identity, emotional safety, and inner authority.
This conversation is deeply personal to me. After years of supporting women through chronic stress, trauma recovery, nervous system overwhelm, and self-reclamation, I’m beginning to speak more openly about the lived realities many of us carried silently for decades.
If you’ve left and still feel:
• disconnected from yourself
• unsure how to trust your own instincts
• overwhelmed by freedom and choice
• exhausted from survival mode
• or afraid to fully become who you are…
You are not broken.
And you are not alone.
Healing is not just leaving.
Healing is learning how to safely belong to yourself again.
If you’re looking for compassionate, grounded support as you rebuild your life, I’d be honored to walk beside you.

Sometimes the body speaks long before the mind catches up.
Fatigue. Tension. Restlessness. Brain fog. The feeling that something is “off.”
This week, instead of trying to fix yourself, try something gentler.
Pause for a moment.
Notice what your body is asking for.
Not with judgment. Not with pressure. Just awareness.
Awareness is often where healing begins.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or stuck in survival mode for too long, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

You're not LAZY ~ It's Overwhelm
Many women call themselves lazy when they’re actually overwhelmed.
Stress can affect motivation, patience, focus, energy, sleep, cravings, and emotional resilience.
Sometimes what looks like “not trying hard enough” is really exhaustion, overload, or a nervous system that has been under pressure too long.
You are not broken.
Awareness is the first step toward change.

If you’ve been blaming yourself for being tired, sensitive, emotional, unmotivated, or overwhelmed… pause.
Your body may not need more pressure.
It may need rest.
Many women live in constant output mode for so long that exhaustion feels normal.
These signs are often messages, not failures.
Healing doesn’t always begin with doing more.
Sometimes it begins with listening.

I have always held that we have access to everything we need for our well being in plants.
The Rockefellers destroyed this access and the mess we have today in the medical system was caused by them.
Find yourself a good botanist/herbalist. Learn for yourself.
Take back your health. Its yours to protect and few pharmaceutical medications are true healers.
DID YOU KNOW THAT THESE EVIL SERPENTS IN 1913 - THE ROCKEFELLERS BOUGHT EVERY HERBAL HOMEOPATHIC SCHOOL IN AMERICA THEN CLOSED THEM ALL BY 1925!

Stress can affect sleep, mood, digestion, motivation, weight, and how connected you feel to yourself.
Sometimes what looks like failure is really overload.
Sometimes what’s needed isn’t more pressure.
It’s support, steadiness, and a gentler path forward.
If this resonates, message me RESET.
