This is priceless.
Check out how local news is reporting on Sen Eric Schmidt’s clown-show grilling of Jack Smith.
They found Jack Smith at the game…
“Top corner, section 109, row 1. In fact, that seat doesn’t even exist in Atlanta.”
The Trump admin’s new AI platform says that the 2020 election was NOT stolen and noncitizen voting is a minuscule phenomenon.
Amazing.

Three deaths, three states, 24 hours: one day in ICE’s quiet but ‘gruesome’ surge
These men in Maine, Georgia and Florida shared no ties – until they became casualties in the latest phase of Trump’s anti-immigration campaign

Adam Kidan went to federal prison with Jack Abramoff and was ordered to repay $21.7 million. Trump pardoned him in July. His money turned up in eight Republican Senate campaigns. https://t.co/HoKjJutyBz
Remember when Trump promised to get rid of ‘waste, fraud, and abuse’ in Washington?
He didn't, he actually created more.
The War Department spent $2.85M to build tents to house 5,000 migrants at Gitmo but the shelters didn't meet federal detention standards. The tents were never used.
ICE along with the War Dept planned to use military camps for detainees. A camp in Texas wasted $11.5M for detainee services over a two-week period b/c the facility was empty.
ICE bought 11 warehouses for $1B billion to hold detainees, now ICE decided to sell seven of them.
To break even, the government must sell the seven warehouses for exactly the $707 million they bought them for.
ICE also spent $7.7M for zoning and title insurance.
If that wasn't enough it paid $12.8 for security and utilities, it will never use.
This is typical of Trump's America, half-ass plans with no thought to tax dollars.
Not to mention, Trump thinks it is fine to spend money to hurt people but no money to help anyone but himself.

A Ruling That Can Only Be Described as Pure Evil
On Tuesday, in an unsigned emergency order that reads like a permission slip for suffering, the far-right Roberts Supreme Court cleared the way for third-country deportations. Immigrants can now be dumped in countries they have never lived in — places the U.S. itself has accused of torture and abuse — without a real chance to object.
The order lets the sadistic authoritarian Trump administration restart its Nazi-inspired rapid-removal machine: people shipped to Liberia, Equatorial Guinea, the Central African Republic, and other dumping grounds, often with little notice and no meaningful hearing. The destination is not their home. The risk is persecution, torture, and death. The Court did not bother to explain itself. The three liberal justices dissented.
This is not a technical stay. It is a green light for a policy whose whole design is to terrorize people by sending them somewhere worse than the place they fled. If cruelty were not the point, they would not need the midnight order.
This is ... well ... totally believable. @azjustinheap moved the voter registration of U.S. citizens to a "not eligible" status after the "SAVE" tool falsely flagged them as non-citizens.
Seems like a violation of state law. Totally unacceptable.

"For the first half of this year, Melania Trump was doing everything in her power to get me to shut up. … That trophy-wife tyrant wanted me on my hands and knees begging forgiveness for something I hadn’t done wrong, and every refusal brought more pressure. I was told, more than once, that I needed to do what other people had done, retract and apologize, or risk losing everything."
The Supreme Court just gave the Trump Administration the green light to deport people to third countries where they have no connection and that have documented records of human rights abuses.
Some people have subsequently been sent to their countries of origin, where they face the threat of persecution, torture, and death. This decision undermines longstanding U.S. and international protections meant to prevent people from being returned to places where they face serious danger.
This cruel and inhumane policy is a black eye on Lady Liberty. We are a nation that promises to welcome the "poor" and "huddled masses" yearning for freedom. Instead, we are sending vulnerable people into harm’s way — and, in some cases, potentially to their deaths.
This is shameful and illegal.
How childish & simple minded to accuse people who take issue with such a thing as being racist. It is perfectly within reason for people to want their National Anthem to be presented in a traditional method rather than in the style of a different country. Maybe we'll send some country singers to Mexico to sing your national anthem in English and you can describe what that makes you think?
@toddfather76@BananoJrMHM Triggered bots sure are bot hurt about a lovely display of music and patriotism.
So whatever you do, don’t tell them that the Star Spangled Banner poem was set to British music.
Did you know? The largest maximum security prison in the United States sits on eighteen thousand acres of former plantation land in Louisiana.
It is still a working farm. Men still pick crops in the fields by hand, watched by guards on horseback.
And it is named after the country the people enslaved there were taken from. Angola.
The land was four plantations. The one that gave the prison its name was called Angola because that was where its owner's workforce had come from.
After the Civil War the property was leased for convict labour, and then the state bought it and kept the system going under a different name.
Men still work the fields for cents an hour. Refusing to work has historically been punishable.
It holds around five thousand people. The overwhelming majority are Black. Most are serving life without parole.
It also hosts a rodeo, twice a year, open to the paying public, where prisoners compete for small prizes in front of an audience that drives in for the day.
A plantation named for an African country, worked by Black men under armed guard, with a paying crowd on weekends.
Nothing about that sentence is metaphor. Every word of it is the literal description of a functioning American institution.
