Google search results page is quite an unreliable source for inline data - store opening times are hit and miss, and it looks like the phone numbers can even be hacked.

Here is yet another daily reminder to only trust the data found on the official websites.

My @delta flight got canceled from JFK. The customer service line was huge, so I google a Delta JFK phone number. The number was 1888-571-4869 Thinking I reached Delta, I started telling them about getting me on a new flight.

Played through Resident Evil: Village in VR (psvr2), and it was one of the top gaming experiences I’ve ever had.

VR adds a lot; I would probably not even get RE for the regular gaming experience, but it was a killer in VR.

@GergelyOrosz I have worked in both kind of teams; also in an org where my team is like ”eng team 2” while others are more like ”eng team 1”.

The cultural difference is striking. There is a lot in getting used to be in ”eng team 1”, felt near impossible to convert into ”team 2”.

News: @opendorse will help Pac-12 football players monetize their highlights on Twitter this season.

Players will receive clips via tech company Tempus Ex Machina and post to their Twitter. An advertisement before the highlight plays will provide revenue directly to the player.

@perry_mitchell My fears came mostly from the wired Apple EarPods, those that used to ship with the iPhone. Those had the most terrible fit ever, never staying in my ears.

The new AirPods Pro shape is much better it seems (looks very similar to mine on fp9).

I finally had courage to buy myself first true wireless headphones - was afraid that they would be falling off my ears all the time.

Turns out that these (LG Tone FP9) are staying much better in my ears than any wired/half-wired (Beats X) in-ear headphones I’ve ever had.

Incredible how most engineering managers don't realize how measuring developer productivity by visualizing JIRA+git stats is a dead-end if you want truly high-performing teams.

This path works just like mandating that teams use Scrum. Yes: it helps bad teams get better.

Renting a car in southern europe seems to be considerably more expensive now than before. My last car rental was for ~160€/week in Italy — similar car is now at solid 940€/week from the same company. Similar 3-6x hikes elsewhere.

Yes, rubberducking is real! When stuck, just ask for help — more often than not, just explaining the problem may lead to solution. Sometimes, all the other person have to do is listen. I have been on both sides of the table.

1) Puhelimen akussa ei ole estoa akun jäähtymiselle. Auton sähkömoottori pyöriessään pitää akun lämpötilaa kohtuullisissa lukemissa pakkasellakin, ja akussa on tarvittaessa lämmitin. 1/x
