Don't like what I have to say, now I'm writing my own script around here? Fine, no problem with that at all.
But when dropping me from your follow list, do me the favour of making sure you're no longer on mine.
KThanksBye.
@tina_eager @_IainL@dave43law@GrahamPhoto@JamesJDart I seem to remember them being a suggested thing after the London bombings, despite there being no case whatsoever to be made that they'd have (assuming all they did was prove ID...) preventing the attacks.
@tina_eager @_IainL@dave43law@GrahamPhoto@JamesJDart Mandatory ID cards are fine if they're just that - Cards which exist and can be used purely as proof of identity.
Please, if you know anyone suffering from the early signs of being deeply dippy, refer them to a professional.
Otherwise you might find it progresses from a mild case of the dips to full blown immensely idiotic.
@TheFreds@craig_c83 Yes, it does, doesn't it?
Which would be enough to give any functioning mind pause for thought before assuming it to be real and worth sharing.
@Jamin2g OK, sack them both.
And prosecute the one who *actually* had house parties in his own home after making it illegal for anyone to have house parties in anyone's home.
@AdamRd1989 I generally do. I find it exasperating that you can take two sides of an argument and watch both take turns plumbing the same depths of dumbery.
@AdamRd1989 See, I've had that exact same reply from Starmer supporting people when current Labour were, pre-Tory self immolation, behind.
It's almost as though everyone uses the same script, they just switch roles depending on the situation.
@AdamRd1989 At the same time, many of those who claimed polls were meaningless tools of manipulation when Labour were behind are popping corks all over the place...
@DomHiggs@wesstreeting@JonAshworth Unfortunately, they didn't.
I say unfortunately, because the science suggested that was the right thing to do, but Lab and Tory alike preferred the path of least unpopularity
And in Lab's case it was, yet again, a massive failure as they're accused of what they didn't do anyway
If we are to learn to live well with Covid, we need to be prepared. Labour’s plan will put Britain on the front foot and secure our lives, livelihoods and liberties.

@evilbanana1234@benjaminpa@SkyNews But I do agree. Cramming people into dense urban living, piled on top of each other, doesn't seem like a one size fits all supersolution to this.
@evilbanana1234@benjaminpa@SkyNews The trouble is running public transport for one man and his goat in the evenings probably isn't that great for the environment either. Public transport where I am is dreadfully inconvenient, but would most likely be "dirtier" per passenger mile during off peak hours.
