Jesus is the way the truth and the life.
His death and resurrection was not God Dying but showing us the way through him by him overcoming death.

Deut 27:26 cursed is the one who does not keep the law by doing them.

Lev5:17 explains that anyone even in ignorance who has transgressed the law needs atonement for sin.

Where is it in the tanakh?

In fact the 1st time we see a lamb in Torah is Abel's sacrifice which God respected.

Ignorance was covered at the cross. Forgive them for they know not what they do.

Where wilfull ignorance plays is the high hand against God. Utter rejection of his sacrifice. That soul will bear their own iniquity.

The historians alive during Jesus time were the ones who wrote their testimonies that we accept as canon.

Much in the same way any of the books of tanakh are written. Don't be hiprocritical of one and not the other.

My experience tells me different I have been around thousands of believers and I don't know anybody who believe the earth is flat.
