Tonight was a much needed offensive breakout for the Oilers. Of all the goals, I want to highlight the "highlight goal" by Connor McDavid. This was off a set play the Oilers have run a lot since the Four Nations. Kulak has done it a lot with Draisaitl in the last few games.

They allowed the 4th-fewest high danger chances/60.
They were the highest-scoring team by far.

They averaged 0.05 GSAX per GM. That's the definition of average.

Evan Bouchard, supposed defensive liability and PP merchant, has been on-ice for fewer 5v5 goals against per 60 in the past two seasons (with *and* without Ekholm on-ice) than Toews, Parayko, Sanheim and Pietrangelo.
