You think she wouldn’t like to wear a bone straight wig too? It’s what she has and she doesn’t deserve to be bullied for it, let’s learn to always extend some grace to each other fr 🫶🏽
Just finished calculating the money I’ll spend if I spend two nights in a resort in Lagos and I can assure myself and everyone else that it would be better to spend the money outside Nigeria.
the concept of life on earth will forever break my brain cause how do you even explain a sentient civilization on a floating rock orbiting a random star racing through an endless sea of nothingness 💀
learning how to tell when advice is really just someone else’s regret in disguise. your divorced friend cautioning you about marriage, your broke uncle’s take on investments, your unhappy parent steering your career.
they are not advising you. they are processing themselves. once you learn to hear the wound behind the words you stop letting lost people give you directions.
LRT I genuinely can’t stand seeing people do reckless shit like that. I’ll die on the hill that there’s absolutely no reason to drive above 80 km/h on Lagos roads. That’s been my personal max for over a decade and most times I drive at 60km/h. The extra speed people chase doesn’t save nearly as much time as they think, but it massively increases the risk of an accident.
Which is why it’s important to hold on to a vision only you understand and have complete faith in it. Because one day, the same road that broke you may become the very path that reminds you how far you’ve come.
