[Portsmouth FC @Pompey]

Winning the FA Cup twice isn’t for everyone 😏

[Afogg. @A_F_O_G]

@Oye440 He wasn't rushed. He was due for Man city game.

Sources had it that Saka wanted to be part of the squad but Arteta made sure not add him, so as to make sure he is fully ready for the rest of the games this season.

This is an invoice from a gospel music minister.

The following are its stipulations before the said minister can be invited:

Flights will be booked for both the outbound and return journeys.

The artist will fly First Class (compulsory).
The team will fly Economy.

Hotel reservations will be covered by the church:

a. 1 Executive Suite for the minister
b. 3 Executive rooms for the 6 males
c. 1 Executive room for the 2 males

Honorarium: ₦5,000,000.

MODE OF PAYMENT:

a. A non-refundable 50% deposit must be made before the event can be scheduled.

b. The remaining 50% must be paid 2 days before the event (compulsory).

This invoice is years old, so it has most likely been revised upward.

This has become an accepted practice across many churches in the Nigerian church ecosystem today, especially among gospel music ministers.

Their ministrations, gifts, and talents are now placed behind a paywall.

No money, no ministration.

This raises several important questions about the current state of affairs.

What exactly is the minister charging for?

Everything that makes a ministration and ministry effective comes from God.

Firstly, the ministry itself is from God.

Paul said that it was Jesus who gave the ministries for the edification of the Church:

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers.” (Ephesians 4:11)

Paul also said that it is God who makes us competent to minister the New Covenant:

“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.” (2 Corinthians 3:5)

He further stated that it is God who causes His light to shine in the hearts of the unsaved:

“For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts…” (2 Corinthians 4:6)

And again, Paul made it clear that it is God who gives the increase, while the minister is nothing:

“So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.” (1 Corinthians 3:7)

The question remains: what are we charging for?

It is God who gives the ministry.

It is God who makes ministers competent.

It is God who causes light to shine in dark hearts.

It is God who brings increase and edification.

If a minister charges money to minister, it suggests that they have control over the outcome of the ministration.

But Scripture says otherwise.

So again, what are we charging for? What do we truly have to offer that justifies a price?

Paul also said that it is God who counts ministers worthy and appoints them:

“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.” (1 Timothy 1:12)

We highlight these things to show that God is not pleased with what is happening within the Church in this nation.

This practice has become widespread. Ministers have taken what belongs to God and turned it into personal ambition.

They now believe they must be material beneficiaries simply because they are close to the altar.

Like Hophni and Phinehas, they are fattening themselves on the offerings of God’s people.

God is not pleased.

These money-mongers are ministers of Christ. They do not represent Jesus.

They have become celebrities, following the way of Cain.

Their consciences have been seared, and they no longer hold to the mystery of the faith with sincerity and a pure conscience.

God has rejected the service of such people.

This example is only a modest invoice.

There are others that are far more excessive, more troubling, and more driven by greed.

But the message has been passed.

More will be said.

Until then, remain blessed. Keep your garments white and your hands pure.

Amen.

Okay, COYG.

The anger is away now. 😩😩😩

[Kremlin @Nelly1Kremlin]

@Cfc_Kemboi @PatoKech Arsenal fans need to stop reacting to every single tweet about the club. Not everything deserves a response especially from rivals who are just looking for attention. The more we engage, the more we amplify their noise. Ignore them, stay focused, and back the team instead.

[Maliq @MasterMaliq]

WHAT IF CHRISTIANS FINALLY GO ROGUE LIKE OUR MUSLIM EXTREMIST BROTHERS?

It will be BLOODIER than anything Boko Haram or bandits have ever done.

People are sleeping on this fact: Christians are FAR more ORGANIZED, disciplined, and connected than we Muslims ever will be.

- Catholics have the Pope in Vatican, one phone call and millions move like an army.

- Anglicans have their own global structure.
Jehovah’s Witnesses - Seventh Day Adventists - Latter Day Saints, all centralized.

Even in Nigeria: RCCG under one Pastor - Winners Chapel - Deeper Life - Mountain of Fire - Christ Embassy… every single one has a powerful General Overseer or head who commands loyalty like a cult.

All it takes is ONE COMMAND from these pulpits: “Enough is enough.”

And suddenly, the same people you call “peaceful” will show you that Muslims do NOT have monopoly on violence.

We’ve seen what happens when Christians retaliate in History.. Remember the Catholic crusade.

Our extremist brothers are busy killing, kidnapping, and burning in the name of jihad… while Christians are quietly building empires, schools, universities, and networks across the country.

Wake up.

We better start calling out our own violent elements LOUDLY before Christians decide to say “turn the other cheek no more” and unleash hell.

Because when they do, it won’t be sporadic attacks.

It will be systematic.
It will be brutal.
And it will be too late to beg for peace.

[Afogg. @A_F_O_G]

@TikiTakaConnor I hope people are actually seeing this because when table turns.

No one should come here and start acting like Arsenal fans are over doing it

"When it comes to Arsenal, everybody become stupid on purpose" has to be the greatest quote because this stupid clown is blaming Arsenal fans for something a Barcelona fan said.

No Arsenal fan should skip this without reposting because the truth need to travel wider than the lies these fools spread about us.

In 2023, Arsenal lost on penalties to Sporting CP in the Europa League, followed by a 3-3 draw at home to relegated Southampton and a 4-1 defeat at the Etihad which all but ended the Gunners hopes of becoming Premier League champions.

In 2026, Arsenal face the exact same three opponents in a two week period which could make or break their season again.

The FA Cup, Champions League and Premier League is all on the line.

Arsenal are on a revenge tour & it begins tomorrow.

@Jim_Slair Very soon, they will start picking you guys up for all these made up lies just for engagements

[Afogg. @A_F_O_G]

@UtdKlay It's a good thing you are comparing him with legendary managers already, because he is about to become one.

[Afogg. @A_F_O_G]

@UtdKlay It should have been Arsene Wenger instead of Arteta but you know what you are doing.

Compare Arteta with his set.

Frank Lampard
Thomas Tuchel
Graham Potter
Mauricio Pochettino
Enzo Maresca
Erik ten Hag
Ange Postecoglou

You can't, because he ranks above them all

[Afogg. @A_F_O_G]

@Damian_Burton1 @Miztafantastic @UtdKlay He should have added Arsene Wenger, not Arteta.
If he is using Arteta, then he should have added the set of manager that came in when he came in 2019.

Thomas Tuchel

Erik ten Hag
Nuno Espirito Santo

[Afogg. @A_F_O_G]

@TouchlineX Yeah.

He is winning another one this same 2026.

Keep that in the record too

@CFC_OBED One thing about haters is, they have no shame.
