Threat-actors are actively targeting PLC's, which are critical to OT ops. At a minimum these PLCs should be on private VLANS, with limited IP access, maybe even VPN only.

If the enemy has no quams with hurting civilians all options are on the table.

Current generative AI is like having a child with all of mankind's knowledge and no context of right and wrong. Telling it not to give someone certain information doesn't work because it cannot understand why something isn't considered counter to rules or laws.

Should the industry move away from the use of the term Advanced Persistent Threat as a way of describing an intruder? If media labels everything from highly motivated financial threats to nation-state actors as "APT", maybe it's time the term is retired.
