To Alberta independence supporters:
Over the next two weeks, expect a sustained, coordinated media campaign against the Alberta independence movement.
Watch the tactic carefully: months-old and even year-old controversies will be dragged back out, repackaged with ominous language, and presented as if journalists have suddenly uncovered some explosive new scandal.
That's exactly what we're seeing now.
Stories that were openly discussed and reported long ago are being stitched together, given fresh headlines, and dropped right before Albertans vote.
If there is materially new information, report it. But recycling old stories and dressing them up as "BREAKING" or a new exposé is not the same thing as uncovering something new.
Albertans should be asking one very simple question every time one of these stories drops:
What, exactly, is new here?
If the answer is "almost nothing," then ask why it's running now.
The goal isn't to inform you.
It's to sway your vote.
@georgegalloway The entire Western world is in a state of collapse. The parasite elites have socially engineered this horror show. I see nobody strong enough on the world stage to stop it. We are being governed by psychopaths!
