Very productive meeting and discussions about black hole science! I'm happy of having been part of the Local Organizer Committee.

One of these images is not like the others! The Event Horizon Telescope of over 350 members convened this week for a virtual collaboration meeting. We have made progress at a dizzying pace recently, imaging polarization near the M87 event horizon and jets in 3C 279 and Cen A!
Scientists use ~1 millimeter radio waves, which are beyond the scope of human eyesight, to peer through the blazing-hot cloud that surrounds black holes.

"Is M87 Powered by Black Hole Spin or Accretion?" by Roger Blandford
Astronomers have a new, more complete picture of the supermassive black hole at the center of the M87 galaxy, the first black hole to ever be imaged. https://t.co/EdwfcMLgAx
