As a European, I don’t disagree with anything you’ve said. Unchecked immigration is an existential threat that needs to be confronted head on.
But I have lived for 25 years in the U.S. and some of the signs are quite worrying there as well. It took a Biden admin only 4 years to wreck the border and allow for millions of illegals into the country with catastrophic consequences for certain areas. Dearborn, MI is gone. Minnesota, which used to be majority Scandinavian descent is now suffering under tribal Somali communities with rampant fraud.
NY would probably never have elected a radical Islamist had it not been for immigrations.
What’s equally worrying is the disproportionate violent crimes committed by mostly young African-American males which nobody seems to be able to stop let alone address. So whereas Europe is experiencing violent crimes disproportionately by young Muslim immigrants, the U.S. is experiencing it from a small subset of its own population.
Couple that with the left-wing rule of almost every U.S. major city and you have the same recipe for disaster. Is there any major U.S. city worth living in?
I spent 25 years in L.A. it was the best place to live in the 90’s.
Gradually everything just deteriorated: infrastructure, crime, homeless, traffic, cost of living.
By the time I left L.A. felt more like a dysfunctional south-American city like Rio.
Now, the U.S. is huge and there’s a lot of open space where you can carve out small communities and live peacefully, and many conservatives recommend that. But it just seems like capitulating of you surrender the major cities to the Left. Yet, that’s the way it seems to be going.
The one critical advantage you have in the U.S. which I dearly miss, is the 2A.
Never give that up. That is probably what’s gonna save you.
@Do35660M@realBrandonGill Bro, you really think India has better universities? I mean we have problems with education here, but this is just basic fraud and corporate greed
This nation was built by my ancestors. They didn't come to a nation with cities and airports or even an economy. They formed it. They instituted it. And after mass italian and Easter European immigration they put a stop to it. We will do the same
@FreeRangeJimbo@Oilfield_Rando Im against absorbing even in bankruptcy just bc most grads are so young and would find ways to qualify. I'd like to see 0% interest and lower payments that never end until paid. Then cap loans at 1k a semester to fix it going forward.
@michaellungo@WilliamWolfe@DrSamuelGregg@JDVance Strong words from a man who lives in a world built by better men. Men who built a nation and shaped a people. Small and disgusting is the man who would sell his people's future for an easy dollar. I have pity for you.
@michaellungo@WilliamWolfe@DrSamuelGregg@JDVance You libertarians have been so indoctrinated by Ayn Rand that you actually believe an economic system based on personal liberty & responsibility can be opened up to the world without consequences and businesses looking for cheap labor are happy to go along. America is not for sale
@ThomBrady5 If a company has no obligation to the common good of the citizenry, then the citizens have no obligation to the interests of the company, shareholders, or their bottom line. The chamber of commerce is losing the right and starting to get worried.
@michaellungo@WilliamWolfe@DrSamuelGregg@JDVance We're done selling visas and citizenship so businesses can have cheap labor. These companies are more than welcome to go where the cheap labor is instead of bringing them here
@PPHatenToast@AuronMacintyre The Prince differs from his other writings in that its audience is intended to be a ruler. Specifically one that might unite Italy and keep her from constant invasion. Such a ruler would no doubt have to overthrow other rulers and break laws
People have been asking me if I’m worried about Bo French’s race and this is my message to them:
I believe Bo’s going to win. But if Texans decide to hand over Texas oil and gas regulation to a Democrat because of Bo’s lukewarm and very reasonable post about replacement migration, then they’re not worth fighting for and the state of Texas and this country are genuinely cooked.
There’s a lot of peace in having that sort of clarity in November. So no, I’m not worried.
@ChristianHeiens Part of my family immigrated in the 1890s and it took three generations and a war to assimilate them. For every Nalin Haley we are getting 100 el-sayeds
Simple question: Suppose Indians were superior to Whites in every way.
imagine they are just better than us.
Should we give them the country our ancestors built, explain to our kids that they aren't good enough for a high-paying job, or even a decent university, and accept our new 2nd-class status?
Or should we kick them out and say "This place is ours. Go back to the country YOUR ancestors built."
@MrLeadslinger My ancestors came in the 1890s and so many came that the boarders were closed and mass deportations took place. It was the correct response then and it is now too
