It’s not even like some small thing either. Voters in Wyoming count 3.57 times as much as voters in California. So dumb.

People will say “But Wyoming has barely anybody in it, so without the electoral college they wouldn’t get as much representation!” How is that a bad thing?? They get less representation because nobody fucking lives there. A states voting power should be directly proportional to the number of people it represents, because every person is equal.

Protecting *people* is a good and natural function of government. People deserve security.

Protecting specific *jobs* is bullshit protectionism. Specific jobs do not have an ineffable right to exist permanently. Automation is good, robots are good, we need more of them.
