@SamridhiOberoi My survival kit:
Pancakes for energy, chicken salad for the calmness, chicken biryani because it's my favorite and coffee because it keeps me active, and an espresso marini for a beautiful end!
@SamridhiOberoi I saw your insta story yesterday, you posted the first pic and I was wondering where it was 😄 now I know! Juno HSR. Now it's another cafe in my checklist to try! 💯
i watched The Social Reckoning recently, and what the actual fuck
in january 2025, Selena posted a video of herself crying over the deportations of immigrants and the children affected by them.
she was expressing helplessness over something happening to other people.
months later, that same video was repackaged as a story about Benny Blanco allegedly cheating on her.
the video was real. the story attached to it wasn't.
and somehow, that version travelled across the internet, collecting millions of views
and the comments ooommyygoooddd
i can't stop thinking about the movie also imagine the algorithm doesn't necessarily care whether a story is true. it cares whether people stop scrolling.
outrage keeps people watching, speculation gets people commenting, an emotional video gets people curious, and a dramatic caption gives them a reason to share it.
so the more sensational the story, the more attention it can attract.
reposts and reshares drive the algorithm
basically the more attention it attracts, the more people are exposed to it.
wdym people are building platforms that can make billions of people look at the same video and believe they're seeing completely different realities.
and we're doing it at a scale where the person in the video might not even know what's being said about them.
Went to Nerlu again and this time I went with my dad! ✨
I ordered a Classic Cold Coffee while my dad got a Cappuccino
Classic Cold Coffee: 9/10
Cappuccino: 8/10
After that, I ate crispy chicken salad while my dad got a buffalo chicken sandwich. Two wholesome meals. 😋
In England and Australia there are balanced pitches, it's only in India that there are flat pitches and high scoring games, BCCI has made a mockery of the sport.
We need competitive, balanced pitches with something in it for everyone.
My honest take: The 220-250 games every game has become boring. I miss those days where 180 or even 160 used to be a good score.
It's just become bat vs bat and a battle of who can hit more sixes. Bowlers have become bowling machines and it's boring to watch
With young kids watching this, who would want to become a bowler?
The audience loves to see sixes and entertainment and nothing to take away from the batters but flat pitches, small boundaries and it's too much in favour of the batters.
Hear what @Addverb_Tech is up to. Sangeet Kumar speaks about Physical AI with a level of passion that almost sounds spiritual.
