@AndyHopperTX@CyberGreen09 What is the point of even posting this shit? As if anybody in congress is actually going to break with H1b lobbyists. All about the money, honey.
@chriswithans I'm really glad USCIS has caught onto that "fake education enrollment" loophole however, and closing the 60 days allowance prevents the visa hopping -- S. Indians hate their country & all the competition/pollution there. They consider it a fate worth than death to have to go back
@chriswithans From personal experience with H1bs, in the past they've been advised by immigration lawyers to keep enough emergency funds to be able to enroll in a second or third MS to "visa hop" and buy 2 years -- all the while applying for jobs and dropping out of the MS once they get one.
@BpethiusSatori@VinLeafs I have to imagine the caucasian gents' rock hard fist also had something to do with it. That was a LOT of anger coming out, deservedly so with the "social engineering" that Canada's undergone over the last decade.
I imagine dude's never going to have to buy a beer ever again.
@random_pure@REDBOXINDIA It wasn’t sustainable to have the amount of M.S.-H1b pipeline shit we had going on between 2016-2025. Half of South India seemed to have come here “to study”, I see they’re all going back now and desperately trying to sell homes they shouldn’t have bought.
