I do not know who advised Kenyans that the 32.5N cement (Normal early hardening cement) is ONLY ideal for plastering works and that it is inferior to the 32.5R (Rapid early strength gain cement).

At the end of the day, the two gain 32.5 MPa amount of strength and it is the rate that differs.

32.5N gains normally and 32.5R gains rapidly.

The destination remains the same.

I don't want to understand, so I'll explain.

1. The Ngong Road–Naivasha Road Flyover (Junction Mall interchange) is done after roughly 21 months done by a foreign company, Centunion, the same company also worked on the T-Mall flyover.

Yk infrastructure projects are not only about the finished bridge, they are also about skills, jobs, businesses, and industrial growth created while building it.

How many Kenyab graduates enjoyed this?

1. Engineers (Civil, Structural, Transport, Materials, Geotechnical)
Because i believe young Kenyan engineers can get site experience in bridge construction, piling and foundation, concrete works, steel reinforcement, road pavement works, traffic management, quality control

Graduate engineers can work as:

site engineers
assistant resident engineers
survey engineers
materials engineers
safety officers

The real value is experienced, a fresh graduate who spends 18 months on a major flyover leaves with skills that are difficult to gain in an office.

2. Quantity surveyors & project managers

They gain exposure in
measuring works
valuations
cost control
contracts
claims management
project scheduling

3. Technicians and artisans
A project of this scale needs:
survey technicians
lab technicians
machine operators
welders
steel fixers
carpenters
electricians
plant mechanics

Many of these skills are transferable to other projects.

4. Suppliers and local businesses
Money flows into:
cement suppliers
steel suppliers
aggregates/quarry businesses
fuel suppliers
transporters
accommodation providers
food vendors near the site
hardware shops

A big project creates a temporary economic ecosystem.

5. Students and interns
Universities and TVET institutions can use such projects for:

industrial attachment
site visits
research
learning modern construction methods
