For your information, USA will employ a Nigerian nurses before they employ a UK trained nurse. UK nurses are only trained for specialties while Nigerian nurses are trained in all aspe

@KalBonner @ukhomeoffice If all these are true, then you should question the GMC. How did these "fake" doctors get their licences. A consultant in another country cannot just come and start practicing in the UK without passing all necessary exams and verifications before acquiring a licence. Look inward.

@Nattie_Best @OurFavOnlineDoc I disagree. This is UK where the system is fair enough. She works for the NHS and is entitled to 9 months maternity leave. She can access support for childcare around her. Having no childcare is a valid ground to be absent 4rm work. She went to work elsewhere. It is unacceptable.

@Nursingworld_Ng If the UK government that spent thousands of pounds to bring us in didn’t tie us down not to leave, why then should nursing council be tying nurses down unnecessarily instead of them to fight quackery and ensure remuneration is appropriate. This is the joke of the century.

@Nursingworld_Ng I don’t understand these excuses oooo. Has @NMC_Nigeria ever repaid any loan for any relocated nurse before? How did loan issues become the responsibility of the council? Letter of good standing is needed by employer not by the council as the applicant has successfully qualified
