I’m so happy rn🥹 I remember when I used to be a Social Media Manager, my salary was 25k 😭, from there I got referred to someone and was paid 35k. I kept learning on the job, taking different gigs till I got a gig that paid higher “80k”, it was a football Academy, I worked with them for almost a year, I was their media manager, Graphic Designer, and blog writer. My boss was the nicest man, he paid for courses and helped me upskill in every way, Mr Temi, if you’re reading this, God bless you💗. Then I got referred to someone else, he owned a news company, I worked with them for months, From there I worked with a fashion brand. After that, I struggled for a bit, No solid job for months, I was so broke, If there was anything like “brokest”, that was my situation 🥹, I was basically trekking to school, managing 1-2k to eat daily. Then I took on content writing, went on to work as a content writer for different brands, then took on Graphic Designing Fully, For this I joined @egbokavictory_ Canva Class. Funny enough, I still design from time to time. Thank you so much @TariusNG for encouraging me to take this class. And now I’m here, A Career Specialist, Positioning Job Seekers for Job opportunities locally & internationally, I’ve helped over 5k people land jobs, interviews, switch careers, written over 2k resumes/cvs, reviewed thousands of cvs. I’ve recruited for several companies, worked as an HR, I still work as an HR. I took this career path because I understand, I understand not knowing where your next meal will come from, I understand how it feels to wake up unemployed & depressed, before I started social media management, I was living from hand to mouth, there was no day I didn’t cry, I was so ashamed when I request for “urgent 2k” from people and at some point, I had every loan app on my phone, I used to google paid surveys, then I went into ushering, sales, worked with a gadget store that paid me 5k for every customer I brought in, so yes I understand. I understand and I will walk you through everything till you land a job. And when I took this career path, I made a covenant with God, writing this just made me remember when @Chinwe_Owanta talked about the spiritual side of tech, except this isn’t just tech🤭 And like @TechnicalBben would always say “THE BROKE ONES WILL RISE AGAIN” So this year, THE BROKE ONES WILL RISE AGAIN, I��m on a mission to land 50,000 people jobs through my platforms, so help me GOD! So believe me when I say I’ll hold your hand & walk you through everything. So here’s Halo, A Career Specialist, An HR, A recruiter, A Resume Writer, ( And many more things to come) And I’m glad I get to take you on this journey with me 💗
