Two weeks ago, I experienced wheelchair rugby league after being invited to @England_RL training as they prepare for @RLWC2021.
It was tough, physical and requires incredible skill. I left aching and sore: but in awe of the sport and its stars.

Willie Peters has described the tackle on Bill Leyland in the cup final as the 'worst he has ever seen', and insists he was staggered Junior Nsemba wasn't charged. Says Nsemba's involvement led to Leyland being put in a dangerous position.

@JamieRaynor@BBCSounds@BBCWYS It'll be interesting to see if he goes into detail about how and why he left. Hopefully he admits he made the biggest mistake of his career!
Hull have expressed a desire to keep Ethan O'Neill and Jeremiah Mata'utia beyond their initial loan deals, which expire next week. Leeds will make a call after this weekend's fixtures but door ajar for them to stay with FC.

Nene Macdonald is a couple of weeks away from a return for St Helens. But Noah Stephens has suffered nerve damage to his shoulder as a result of the tackle that led to him failing a HIA at Castleford, and he needs clearance to return.

🐆 Good news for Leigh, with Michael Chammas confirming PNG Chiefs won't be trying to lure Edwin Ipape their way.
The long-term Leopards deal he penned last year does not include an NRL release clause.

Understand Halifax youngster Alfie Johnson is being watched by multiple Super League clubs for 2027. The former Warrington Wolves man has caught the eye in the Championship this year for the Panthers. Huddersfield among those looking.

Sounds like I'm in the minority on here but good luck to Max Power. Gave #bcafc a good year and can imagine that commute from the Wirral to Apperley Bridge 5 times a week would get rough quickly with a young family. Sometimes it's not just about football.. it happens. We move on
Delighted for Matty Lees to crack at the NRL. Been one of Super League's best for a prolonged period. He's off to the Chiefs in 2028

This week's pod now live! Paying tribute to the great John Kear, all the Challenge Cup final fallout, Wembley's future, the two new Super League clubs going to Dublin and the Championship star attracting Super League interest. A busy show!

@rlfansSaddened I have pushed back. I have told the RFL I think it's wrong. I would wager they obviously don't think any of that stuff you suggest is 'okay'.
I'm told Junior Nsemba ultimately wasn't charged for his role in the Leyland tackle because it was deemed by MRP that it was Sam Walters who instigated the dangerous tackle: and it would have still been dangerous without Nsemba. Don't shoot the messenger!
https://t.co/o8ICG5Mmx8
@rlfansSaddened What, you want me to argue against the MRP's decision? For the benefit of whom? For what it's worth I'm surprised they made that call in my opinion but that's all it is, my opinion. You think me kicking off at them will make them change their mind?
Sam Walters gets SEVEN games for the tackle on Bill Leyland. Harry Smith also missing for Wigan this week as his high shot in the cup final earns him a one match ban..

Kris Radlinski says that the game must make a concerted effort to get people to Wembley. I agree; slept on it over the weekend and RL can't walk away from Wembley without at least trying. So many easy tweaks could make a huge difference. Some thoughts:
