Réaltaí an Chláir 2025 🟡🔵

Cumann na mBunscol An Chláir, PRO Muireann Mescal came up with the idea of Réaltaí an Chláir. She had a vision of bringing every child with additional needs together and giving them their own special day in our county grounds, Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg.

Yesterday’s event was the first of its kind nationally under Cumann na mBunscol. Muireann’s idea truly came to life, with the help of her fellow committee members, Clare Local Sports Partnership, Clare GAA, TY Future Leaders and Allianz. Along with the SNA’s, Teachers, Parents and most importantly the 170+ students that attended the day!

What a fantastic day it turned out to be and we can’t wait for more days like this in the future ⭐️⭐️

Cumann na mBunscol an Chláir will celebrate inclusivity in Gaelic games by hosting a new initiative for children with additional needs, ‘Réaltaí an Chláir’, in Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg on Thursday, May 22.

This event will see Cumann na mBunscol an Chláir collaborate with Clare GAA, Clare Sports Partnership, and local GAA All-Star Groups.

Participation forms have been sent to all 111 primary schools in Clare and the hope is that there will be approximately 150 pupils with a wide spectrum of additional needs partaking in the day.

The programme from the 1967 Munster hurling championship,played in thurles on the 11th June .Clare were victorious on the day winning 3.14 to 2.7 .Also in programme is u21 hurling Clare v Tipperary. Clare lost this one 4.12 to 3.6 #throwbackthursdayclaregaa
