What broke, and when can we (the consumers) get an update on how it's being addressed? "LG IMS has stopped" and unable to place/receive calls.

I am on-call for my job and cannot reliably receive calls. Thankfully I work in IT, not in medicine where on-call means a life may depend on the call going through.
