@DangerBoat That’s a fair point, and I share that sentiment as well. I barely get excited for anything anymore because it’s usually just pointless remakes, remasters, or sequels that betray the originals.
But still, I’d like to give this one a try at least.
One of my biggest pet peeves is when subtitles are barely readable because people don’t understand contrast.
Extend/darken the drop shadow, add an outline, change the subtitle colour to something that stands out from the background, .
Do ANYTHING to make it less of a strain.
Don’t even get me started on Western audiences constantly harassing Japanese creators for not catering to their every delusional fantasy and headcanons.
As if it wasn’t enough that I hate modern mainstream media, fandoms like these turn me off of indie content.
Every time I want to get into a new series, I discover it’s infested with the most mentally ill, entitled degenerates who have the literary competency of a stillborn cow.
I literally watched it today after picking up a copy from a charity shop!
Still gets me emotional every time! ❤️
From a better time when Disney knew how to tell ACTUAL stories.
Sorry if it feels like I vent a lot on this account.
I know people prefer to simply follow my art on my other account, so I try to keep my opinions separate to not disrupt the experience.
I’ve spent most of my life keeping things to myself, and I need a release now and then.

Algún día tenemos que hablar de como los fandoms destruyen las series que dicen amar.

Toquen pasto.
Since I’m slowly losing space on my bookshelves, and my room isn’t big enough to install more, I decided to get myself a Kindle. Loving it already. 📕 💕
I recognised Tom Kane immediately from his voice as Yularen, the narrator and Qui-Gon, but I only learned now he was also the voice of Yoda as well.
I’m really gonna miss that iconic voice. Rest in Peace. 🙏
How do we know they're actors / influencers?
It's Disneyland yet no kids, no families, all young adults (the demo they're aiming for), and every single of one of them has "the look".
@AGKavm2000 Oh I’m not just talking about movies, but games, tv shows, web series etc.
But you have a point that there’s still gems to be found, it just feels like it only happens once in a blue moon.
One of the reasons I’ve become so obsessed with books is because modern entertainment is so creatively bankrupt that it genuinely infuriates me to the point I get more enjoyment watching these projects fail and the memes they spawn.
