@ZJAyres Unfortunately even in restaurants it's usually alot of prep ahead of time to make tasty food in 10 minutes, that said there isn't really much of a reason you can't do the prep ahead of time for home too (it's still more than 10 min total work unfortunately)
@ndchiappini One of my favourite workups. Filtration of a sludgy mess through celite to the emerald solution which extracts out with water and leaves me a clean product.
@EmmMacfarlane I'm still waiting to see an external audit to show there is any ACTUAL financial issues and it's not just hand waving as an excuse to cut while leaving admin as bloated and ineffectual as usual
@PharmToTablePod@danithechemist@DrLCsquare What is the reaction/process that you find most useful in drug discovery? (most versatile, easiest purification, most scaleable from bench to pilot scale etc.) Equally what is the reaction you didn't expect but keep going back to?
Who would have thought? Acidic protons and Grignard reagents are compatibl, to yield enantiospecific cross-coupling! @cmc_lab we report the first example of enantioenriched cyclic sulfones as coupling partners in Ni-catalyzed Kumada. https://t.co/fQXU8toVWc
Ever wanted a cross-metathesis … but with carbonyls?
Check out Prof @LuminZhang123’s last discovery before starting his own lab at SIOC … in @NatureChemistry

It’s like a reverse ozonolysis!
Had an incredible time this year at my first #CSC2023 it was so amazing being able to share my work and talk with a bunch of fantastic and talented chemists!
