"Let not any one pacify his conscience by the delusion that he can do no harm if he takes no part, and forms no opinion. Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing." John Stuart Mill, 1867
You guys both, @piersmorgan, @BillAckman, are so consumed with pandering to your twitter followers, you have lost all objectivity.
I’ll let you both in on a secret.
BOTH CANDIDATES ARE OLD. VERY OLD.
They both are going to have senior moments, mis-remember, forget things and have physical frailties.
I’ll tell you a not so secret secret:
One is great at soundbites, but also thinks in soundbites.
The other is awful at soundbites, but thinks in complete sentences.
Voters will decide which we prefer
Teacher salaries have decreased in 80% of KY school districts. But the #KYGA24 provided no $ for raises. Or textbooks. Or professional development.
Instead of funding public schools, the KY GOP wants you to let them send taxpayer dollars to private schools.
Don’t let them.
This is a painful story that so many families around America now know too well: Amanda was denied the medical care she needed, and it nearly took her life.
More than 1 in 3 women in America now lives under an abortion ban, with more on the way.
Donald Trump did this.
We just finalized a rule saying major railroads can't unilaterally decide to run a 2-mile-long freight train with only one crew member on board.
It’s as common-sense as it gets - yet the railroad lobby just came out and called this "overreach" by USDOT. I am not making this up.
Today, something weighs heavy on my mind.
With so much at stake, we need young people to be involved, more than ever.
With just over 200 days before the election, how can we cut through the noise and get them to the polls in November?
Here are a few suggestions:
First, let’s start by having a conversation.
If you are a young person, let us know what matters to you and what will get you to the polls. If you know young people who are questioning the relevance of their participation, leave us a comment about why.
I recently saw a heartening statistic: More than 8 million Americans have turned 18 since 2020.
That means 8 million young Americans are eligible to cast a ballot for the first time.
This is great news for our democracy.
During the last presidential election, an increase in young voters was credited with helping to send a former president packing. Young people can save our democracy.
To the rest of us, it’s up to us to repeat what’s at stake. We need to spread the word with messages like this:
“Donald Trump is the greatest threat to democracy in modern times. America is a great country where more unites us than divides us. It deserves saving, and it needs your help. Please register and please vote.”
As President Franklin Roosevelt famously said, “We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.”
The youth can save democracy. Let’s help them do it.

Kentucky AG Daniel Cameron is under fire for signaling on an anti-abortion survey he would restrict access to contraception if he could.

Good luck today out there, America. And good luck to your kids and friends, too. Keep your head on a swivel. Know where the exits are. Learn First Aid. But by all means don‘t vote against your reprehensible Congressmen and women who profit from this. That’d be crazy. #guns
I hear House Republicans out on TV saying they would never vote to cut veterans’ benefits.
In case there’s any confusion, I made a little chart that could help them out.
