🚨Diego Forlán on why Sir Alex Ferguson sold him from Manchester United:
"We were behind against Chelsea. Sir Alex told me to warm up and insisted I wear high studs because of the heavy rain and the wet pitch. But honestly, I preferred the low studs. I said yes to him but ended up doing what I wanted without him noticing.
After warming up, he put me on the field. Just a few minutes in, I got a good chance to score, but I slipped and completely missed the shot. Then, I had another chance, but I lost my balance again and missed it.
Frustrated, I ran over to the sideline to change my boots. But Ferguson saw me and beat me to the boots, throwing them far away from me. He stopped me and told me to finish the game with the boots I was wearing.
That match ended up being my last for Manchester United."

🚨 Atlético Madrid statement following €150m bid from Real Madrid for Julián Álvarez.
“1. You cut the video of the Pope where he said he was also an Atleti fan.
2. You must have confused ethics with gratitude, but to leave no doubts: we don't thank you for anything.
3. We are not studying nor considering any offer for Julián.
4. How could we [Madrid] not get along, when you make us laugh even more than Barcelona.”

Arrived in Oslo to further strengthen the longstanding bilateral ties between Kenya and the Kingdom of Norway. We are also here to advance our shared priorities in trade and investment, climate action and sustainable development.
For far too long, Africa has been viewed primarily as a challenge to be managed rather than an opportunity to be harnessed. That narrative is changing as the continent emerges as a major destination for investment, innovation and sustainable growth.
Kenya and Norway have built a strong relationship founded on trust, mutual respect and shared ambition, creating a solid foundation for deeper economic cooperation and sustainable development.
Norway’s partnership with Kenya on the National Electric Mobility Programme and other strategic initiatives reflects our shared commitment to innovation, green growth and economic transformation.
Addressing the Norwegian–Kenyan Business Forum, we highlighted opportunities to expand trade, investment and partnerships between our two countries. Kenya offers a young, dynamic and highly skilled workforce, a rapidly growing market, and a strategic position as a gateway to Africa’s 1.4 billion consumers.
We also underscored the vast potential for collaboration in infrastructure, renewable energy, green industrialisation, technology and agriculture to drive growth, create jobs and deliver shared prosperity.
To Norway’s business community, we extend a warm invitation to invest, innovate and grow with us as long-term partners in Kenya’s development journey.
