Aurigny shambles at Manchester: delayed as only 4 infant seatbelts were on board for 5 booked (Menzies said knew before boarding). Family with a disabled child asked to deplane, offered a Birmingham reroute with no seats/time. Finally, another mum with 2 kids was told to get off.

Youth homelessness is unique, it has many causes and solutions specific to young people and makes attending conferences so important, making sure we bring the latest & best practice back to Guernsey.

As the only charity dedicated to supporting young adults experiencing homelessness in Guernsey, AfC GYH wanted to spend World Homeless Day hearing their views.

Thanks to the Islands post-16 settings for welcoming us & the amazing 150+ young adults for shared views.

We wanted to share some news this World Homelessness Day, we are growing (again)!

Together with support from Maison Saint Pierre, @GuernseyCF, @lloydsbfci and @SIFGsy we are delighted to announce a new space with;

- 5 training flats
- 1 education suite
- 1 emergency crashpad

Incredibly grateful to the Guernsey team @CareyOlsen for collecting suits & other items to give our in demand, free clothing rail a needed top up! Young people who need to dress more formal for interviews & proms now have access to clothing they may struggle to buy themselves.
