@JesseTinsley It’s difficult to keep post-close surprises to a minimum. Crucial to build trust pre-close and get everyone comfortable sharing info and buy into the vision
@andrewkornuta Really well drawn analogy to language. Technology solves so many of our problems and will continue to, but strong communication through the supply chain mitigates those problems
@wealthMAinsider Seems like a lot of M&A activity from what I’ve seen. Is it just large players acquiring individual books of business or is the PE roll up in full swing too?

Most carriers are in decent shape, the discount carriers are struggling because the cost advantage they provide isn’t all that high and it’s tough to buy narrow-body planes right now so maintenance costs are high, which hits them harder
If I remember correctly, the Osprey (and all variants) crash less frequently per 100,000 flight hours than the Blackhawk But the total flight hours are so different that it’s pretty tough to compare.
I think everyone can safely agree that flying anything marines operate is dangerous

I’m a fan, like anyone else, of what Anduril and other new entrants are doing in the space. More competition is good, of course.
But you’re absolutely right on the contracting piece, folks need to remember what the incentives at play are.
