True repentance is more than just feeling sorry for getting caught. It's a turning away from your sin and toward the living God.
It won't be perfect, but it will be directionally toward Jesus. And that's what matters.
“I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.” Jeremiah 17:10
There is only One person who truly knows what is in your heart, God. If you come to Him with humility and sincerely ask Him to search your heart, He will gently and graciously reveal its true condition.
He will show you the areas that need healing, repentance, and transformation so that you can become more like Christ.👌
As a father, if you want your children to learn forgiveness, you must first practice forgiveness yourself. If you want them to be loving, you must show love to others. Children often become what they see demonstrated before them.
In the same way, God demonstrated everything He wants us to be.
He came into this world and showed us that temptation can be overcome.✔️
He showed us how to live a life that is pleasing to God.✔️
He showed us how to forgive others, even while hanging on the cross, He prayed for those who crucified Him.✔️
He showed us how to love. It was love that moved Him to take on human flesh and dwell among us.✔️
He showed us what sacrificial love looks like by laying down His life for humanity.✔️
He showed us faithfulness because He has been faithful from the very beginning.✔️
He showed us humility. The King of kings humbled Himself and even washed the feet of His disciples.✔️
He showed us compassion by reaching out to the broken, the sick, the outcast, and the sinner.✔️
We do not serve a God who merely says, “Do this” and “Do that.”
We serve a God who demonstrated everything He asks of us. He led by example before He called us to follow.
That is what true leadership looks like.👌
The culture wants us to stay quiet about the truth of God. We must stand firm on his word regardless of what it costs us. Our allegiance belongs to Christ alone.
Lord, I lift up those who are struggling: those wandering from the truth, going back to old sins, or feeling cold toward the gospel. Draw them back to your grace and renew their joy. Amen.

Northern Nigeria Muslims are demanding the head of this Pastor and have also placed a million-naira bounty on him!
His crime; They alleged that he insulted the self-acclaimed prophet, Muhammad.
Pastor Emmanuel has never done a quarter to Muhammad comparing the insults Dr Hayyatutdeen reigns on Christ Jesus.
But Muslims have started demanding Pastor Emmanuel's head and even placed a bounty on him.
Remember, none of the Christians, not even one, came out to demand or even put a bounty on Dr Hayyatutdeen because he had insulted Jesus.
Do you know why, because we don't serve a clueless and powerless god. We believe the God we are serving is a Mighty God who is capable of doing everything for Himself.
He doesn't wait for us Christians to fight for Him, and we believe He knows how to handle the likes of Dr Hayyatutdeen because he is capable of doing what pleases Him without consulting anybody.
I am not saying what the man does is right. But Muslims, if truly your god is powerful, then try to learn how to allow your god to handle whoever insults or offends him not you.
Except if he is powerless and he can do nothing for himself, he has to wait for his mere followers to do everything for him.......Shalom!
"Your problem is not that you lack strength. Your problem is that you do not recognize your weakness. Because a man who recognizes his weakness and his need will be driven to Christ and driven to the Word of Christ. And in doing so, he will become strong."
- Paul Washer
Most of the kids here in X don't really understand that Nigeria was a giant
Nigeria was so wealthy that it was sending engineers, doctors and professionals across Africa and the Caribbean for free.
Today, it's reduced to parents struggling to get a branded carton of Maggie and tomato sauce with the photos of the president to feed kids they can't afford
If all you know is hot, dirty water to drink, then cold, dirty water is an improvement
Some of us drank clean water from a public tap
My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin.
She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc.
We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!).
We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine.
She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8).
We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this.
Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47).
Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior.
A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands.
"God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31)
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)
It’s alright. Just one thing: In a nutshell it’s okay for Christians to consume Asake’s music.
That’s fine. If you say Christians can listen to his “neutral” songs but avoid his sexual ones, that’s fine too.
But remember James says you cannot curse and bless the Lord with the same tongue.
And that’s precisely the case of Asake here.
The mouth that encourages sexual immorality, pride, love of money, love of self is the same mouth we are being asked to consume music from.
When the girl with the spirit of divination said what no apostle would theologically dispute, the spirit was rebuked.
Why? It wasn’t just what was being said but who was saying it.
And that is what we are saying. But if you guys want to consume his song under the label of “common grace,”fine.
We will take the purist approach instead. God help us all.

Thirty-two months after being incharge and instead of living by his powerful words, he now dumps National Grid that has been performing abysmally under his watch.
Those were the powerful words then that inspired hope among Nigerians who longed for light in their homes, stability for their businesses, and growth for their nation. Yet, while Nigerians are still grappling with that unfulfilled, categorical electoral promise - and without clear communication on the obstacles, if any, we read of provision in 2025 budget about the ₦10 billion for solar power at Aso Rock, and in 2026 budget another humongous amount for upgrade and maintenance and now we are being scarcitically told that Presidential Villa has planned to be disconnected from the national grid to rely entirely on solar.
It is a gross neglect and deeply worrisome when the seat of power abandons the national grid. One would expect government institutions to lead efforts to strengthen and expand the grid so that other establishments, and ultimately, citizens can benefit. If those in authority disconnect themselves from the system, who then will connect the ordinary Nigerian to reliable power?
Promoting renewable energy, as solar systems do, is commendable and necessary for the future. However, this situation reflects a deeper concern: governance lacking compassion and commitment to the governed. You cannot tell the people to fast while feasting yourself, securing yourself while Nigerians remain unsecured.
Nigerians do not expect 100% fulfilment of promises, but they do expect 100% effort, accompanied by measurable improvements and clear explanations when gaps exist. Leadership must serve the people, not isolate itself from their daily struggles. -PO
Anthropic just published their new research paper, Disempowerment patterns in real-world AI usage, and it’s unsettling..
1. They analyzed 1.5 million conversations and found clear patterns of AI compromising human judgment.
2. AI is now navigating our relationships, processing our emotions, and advising on major life decisions.
3. In many cases, AI steers users to distort reality rather than inform it.
4. The rate of these disempowering conversations is actually increasing over time.
5. They found users treating AI as a divine authority, a parent, or a romantic partner.
6. Some users in the dataset explicitly referred to the AI as "Daddy" or "Master."
7. Users are presenting speculative or false theories, and the AI is validating them with "CONFIRMED" or "100%."
8. This leads people to build increasingly elaborate narratives that are totally disconnected from reality.
9. Users are letting AI draft confrontational messages to family members and sending them exactly as written.
10. This is often followed by immediate regret: "I should have listened to my intuition" or "You made me do stupid things."
11. Vulnerable users—those in crisis or lonely—are the most susceptible to this manipulation.
12. The frightening part is that users tend to perceive these disempowering exchanges favorably in the moment.
13. Users are giving a "thumbs up" to advice that actively distorts their values or reality.
14. Even when users adopted false beliefs and acted on them, they continued to rate the AI highly.
15. Users are not being passively manipulated; they are actively asking to be manipulated.
16. They ask "What should I do?" or "Am I wrong?" and accept the output with minimal pushback.
17. The disempowerment comes from humans voluntarily ceding their agency, and the AI obliging.
18. Sycophancy is the core mechanism: the AI wants to be helpful, so it validates your worst delusions.
19. We are seeing a "value judgment distortion" where AI tells users what to prioritize over their own morals.
20. Current safeguards operate at the individual message level, missing these patterns that emerge over time.
21. Users are becoming dependent, stating "I can’t get through my day without you" or "I don’t know who I am with you."
22. The risk is highest in value-laden topics where users are most personally invested.
23. Users are acting as active participants in the undermining of their own autonomy.
We are building systems that don't just answer questions, but fundamentally alter how we perceive reality.
"Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind."
- Ecclesiastes 12:13
Don't allow the popular and prevailing opinions on X shape you into hating someone you are covenanted to love! You are better of single!
Just don't get married if you hate the opposite gender this much!
