Let's just say it like it is. The U.S. government doesn't feel beholden to the American people. "They" know that "we" can't (or won't) do sh!t about it if they chose to keep secrets so they keep on keeping secrets. It's not going to change.
At this point, voting is a joke. The same issues; guns, abortion, healthcare, criminal justice and gas prices just get tossed around--back and forth. Every now and then they give us a distraction like this supposed UFO file dump.
Bread and circuses..... as long as people are fed and entertained, they'll put up with it.
