I know I have literally 0 following, but if anybody see's this through the hastags, please repost, retweet, copy and paste the link into your own tweet, IDC. WE CANNOT let @Sony kill Destiny!!! 🤬 #Destiny#Sony#playstation#Bungie#Marathon#xbox#steam https://t.co/XY9CKUuu07
@KahliefAdams What I am getting at is the leadership sees $$$. Not, D2 players funding their half-complete game. If they see Marathon suddenly makes money, they won't think twice about another Destiny. They'll push another Marathon and think they are doing what makes them money.
@KahliefAdams which just was NOT a feasible move considering what Bungie was known for (Sci-fi, ellaborate universe storytelling) and the product (Marathon) that came out of this. Obviously they had to redirect resources, which D2 players feel added to the collapse of Y1 of Prophecy.
@GamerUPGaming Asmon, Luke, Legendary, all very large creators who were NOT Destiny streamers and all were shitting relentlessly on the game. They all amassed TENS OF MILLIONS of views, with 95% of the viewers agreeing with them. Not saying they were right, but blaming this on D2 fans is crazy.
@GamerUPGaming The hate Marathon got mainly comes from outside sources post art-theft scandal. Even when the April Alpha originally dropped, people were not fans of the cartoony look (even if it was alpha) which eventually snowballed into D2 fans "They took vaulable resources from us for this?"
@Blitzingmysh1t Lucky is beyond annoying and you can clearly see hes just trying to ride whatever train get the most clicks. Cannot stand that guy. Fake af
@aiiygatorz People are definitely attempting to guilt trip, you just gotta catch it in the wording. Some posts like Vanguards' are even telling others essentially to shut up. Things like this are what's adding additional fuel to the fire.
@Bungie isnt Bungie without Destiny. Just like YOU (Bungie) weren't Bungie without Halo during the early 2000s. You will NOT change my mind on this. Marathon never had and STILL does not have near the same size of fanbase. For every "1 Marathon fan" there are 10,000 Destiny fans.
