I say bring back Shami for God’s sake.
He is any day better than Anshul Kamboj, Gurnoor Brar, Harshit Rana or Prasidh Krishna. FFS, listen to us. Shami is a monster in ICC tournaments, and South African conditions will suit him. How can you keep ignoring him for these bowlers?
I genuinely feel bad for Shami. The way he’s being treated is honestly shameful. He gave everything in the last World Cup, was one of the main reasons India went to the finals, and then performed well in the CT too.
What more do you want from him? Bowlers like Starc are still being backed, not because of their age but because of their performance and experience.Why keep ignoring Shami just because you think he’s 36? Bring him back ffs.
