@buzzfeedjenny 45 minute commute each way? Without bad traffic? So sometimes 2 hrs? I’ve seen someone do that and I watched it slowly suck the very soul from their body. The extra pay is very attractive but quality of life matters too.

For the affirmation. They get love bombed into transition and then dropped like a bad habit when they change their minds.

If I were to say that a man must be trained to become a good husband, most American women would clap along and agree wholeheartedly. If I were to say that a woman must be trained to become a good wife, the same women would cry misogyny, control, abuse.

@MattWalshBlog I don’t agree with every Matt Walsh take by any means, but this seems like common sense. The people saying it hasn’t gotten wildly more expensive to do basic things like eat a restaurant meal with your family once in a while are either delusional or lying.

@follard Lived in rented houses my entire life til my mid-30’s. Every single day I wake up I still am in awe that this property is ours, that it will belong to my children someday. The freedom to make it what we want is priceless to us. No visible neighbors. Peace. A garden. Buy dirt!

@davidharsanyi I paid $7.50 for a gallon of regular whole milk yesterday. That same gallon of milk would have been $3 in 2018. Price of groceries is the only thing I’m a doomer about really, I hate grocery shopping now. So stressful

@larissaphillip My 5yo does this but only after we took her off screens entirely for several weeks. If they’re watching tv/movies or playing video games, they don’t bother with this kind of play. Sad but true
