"I got COVID 4 times and I was fine."
"I fell off my bike 4 times and I was fine."
"I smoked cigarettes for 4 years and I was fine."
"I got 4 concussions and I was fine."
I don't use Adobe's Creative Cloud because I like keeping my files locally.
But seeing how they think they can use anything you upload there for AI training purposes, I'm filling up my entire 20 GB storage with random Nightshade-poisoned images.
I encourage others do the same!
Nothing quite sums up the hegemonic project of covid normalisation, and the total disregard for the lives of the vulnerable necessary to that project, like the last polio survivor living in an iron lung being killed by covid
The people flying airplanes can't think straight anymore. It's a good thing longterm caregivers and housing are totally free, otherwise people might try to hide this sort of thing to stay employed
re: exercise and covid, a few years ago i watched a video made by a pro figure skater on a cruise ship because i was interested in what happens if they get covid. she had never gone a day in her life w/o exercising, so she worked out in her quarantine room with a 106 degree fever
One in four people infected by Covid are developing Long Covid. Reinfections raise the risk. 60% of transmission happens without symptoms. 53% of those with Long Covid have severe cognitive slowing. Nearly everyone has been infected. The virus is everywhere. Do you see it yet.
CDC is reducing covid isolation to 1 day because so many people are getting sick so often that it’s keeping them from work - NOT because covid is magically less dangerous & 1 day is safe. It’s absolutely about treating people like cogs in a machine, not health or science.
I think it’s cute that in my friends group chat, when someone goes to the store they’ll ask what everyone else wants and we’ll put in our orders. We all live in different states so it isn’t real but it still feels thoughtful and sweet
